- Kazushi Sakuraba teaches Leglocks including foot locks, heel hooks, ankle locks and the texas cloverleaf in this instructional video. As part of my research into Sakuraba, I employed a Japanese translator to subtitle the instructional for me and I present it here for educational purposes. I hope you enjoy it.

Just sharing this stuff out there while I can.
Absolutely adore your work. Sometimes nothing needs to be said when the legend is doing his thing.
But goddamn it sounds like a perpetually draining bathtub made out of metal in this recording xD
@@ffnovice7 haha, Yeah the original recording had a constant burring sound, I tried to remove it but maybe made it worse. Oh well.
Thank you
Thank you for making stuff like this available!
Make more Sakuraba videos!
Time to call my litte brother
x2
Thank you, Sonny Brown. Hope you're doing well. Had missed your posts
🙏🙏🙏
You are back at last & underappreciated, thank you for the content.
🙏🙏🙏
U are a saint for giving us this
No problem!
Cool nostalgic video! But modern leglock-game is lightyear ahead this stuff.
This is 20 years old video. That's like comparing Royce to Garry Tonan.
All modern leg lock strategies are based on these concepts. Just advanced due to professional full-time training opportunities and Internet sharing technologies.
@@kallepikku4991 I agree. That's what I was trying to say. But I think it would be much more useful to watch Tonon's leglock videos with control and finishing details than Royce's or Sakuraba's 20 year old videos about poor consepts.
Yes!!! Instructions from the legend. Thank you
🙏
You deserve way more subs
Beautiful moves.
That the gracie hunter
*Gracie Killer
@@MihirMishra-pw4vf hunter is right😉
@@bilalplayer45 Killer is better
@@MihirMishra-pw4vf i guess 🤣
@@bilalplayer45 Killer would be more appropriate 'cause after he beaten Royler Gracie, it was the Gracie's that was hunting him.
Love the video! Absolutely terrified of the lions and tigers in the background.
The sound? I tried to clean it up as much as I could but the source was not great.
Wow! What you are doing is really appreciated! Thank you
Awsome thank you!
Thank-you!
This is great!
🙏
This is awesome
Super cool you had these done.
🙏🙏🙏
1:05 note to self
🙏
Awesome
Wonderful!
🙏
Instructions unclear my brother can't walk
Any plans to translating the full length video?
Maybe two more sections.
This would have taken John Danaher 10 hours and 160$ to explain
Weird comparisson! John's stuff works at the highest level and is super technical, and revolutionized the game. As much as I love Saku, his stuff is nothing compared to the DDS's.
🙏
👍👍👍
Como no-hablante del Nipón, como No-hablante del ingles solo me queda ver el video y esperar a que entre la información a mi mente
From which year is this??????
8:52 Is that Sharpshooter? 😯
I think it is a Cloverleaf but not really a sharpshooter, like the Lion Tamer by Chris Jericho or Dean Malenko's finisher. I mean Sakuraba is a catch wrestler so I guess some of his technics are similar to what pro wrestlers do, ultimately pro wrestling comes from catch wrestling.
Texas cloverleaf haha
Do you know the approximate date for this btw?
Not sure unfortunately. 🙏
Who taught him leglocks?
It's very common in catch wrestling
Mostly trickled down from Karl Gotch, and also somewhat less learned some leg locks directly from Billy Robinson. Both Catch wrestling legends.
