It's very simple to solve for now -Major Brutality Buff (Ghost) -Major Fracture (Skull or Blastbones) -Cost reduction on skills -A less punishing Heal -Blastbones Rework could have been more like wardens Sub assault. (Same animation just skulls instead)
As a necro Main, I think brutality should go to the mage or archer, to encourage you to run it and give more identity. It already feels like a worse warden, adding it to the ghost would just make it feel more so in my opinion. I also think the 8% increased healing passive should go along with the minor defile, and they should do something necro-ish. Like expired corpses spawn zombies or something

At the moment there’s a whole passive used to offset a debuff we give ourselves, it’s a wasted passive slot. Hope that makes what I meant a little more clear
The only time you get attacked is when you cast a skill that is considered a criminal act, not whenever you walk into a town. Hence why I never pvp in town or near guards

Since the flavour of the necromancer is resurrecting the dead, the tethers should be reworked into reanimating corpses into extra pets that follows you. It plays more into the fantasy, is more lore friendly, and solves the issue of tether's limited range and awkwardness. Here's some ideas, Heal tether rework : "consume a corpse to resurrect a mummy pet for 20 sec, morph 1 : heals and restore resources your resources / s. morph 2 : heals you and surrounding allies in an aura / s" Damage tether rework: "consumer a corpse to resurrect a zombie pet for 20 sec, morph 1 : putrid zombie, deals poison/disease damage in an aoe/s and at the end of it's duration explodes. morph 2 : electrified zombie (think of frankenstein's monster), lasts extra 10 seconds and deals lighting damage in an aoe/s. Basically the same skills but lore based pets that sticks instead of tethers
Necro went through some super great phases. Original necro was crazy op i heard. I played it after the the whole block kill builds. Necro bombing was so fun. And u were tanky af. Such good times. So sad they nerfed grave robber.

Class also needs better damage passives as far as stat boosting, they get the 1500 pen when a grave lord skill is active which is trash, every other class has some great passive boosting damage.
Either remove the goofy 'skeleton builds itself' animation and the run after the opponent animation (i.e skele spawns at enemy and explodes like Shalk) or just replace it with a Bone goliath hand like that one monster set but without the juggle, or stormfist but with instant crush/punch. 60% of the time blast bones either loses the target or the target is dead or the wrong target entirely, but yeah, NOBODY wants to play buff cycler, this ain't a PVE parse
Yea bro necro def would benefit a lot from buff timer increases and the corpse system for tethers suck. The new class set would a bit with tethers, may test it out when not too lazy to run the dungeon
The problem with tethers is solved with the new class set, problem is the set fkn sucks and you gotta burn the buff it provides to stick the tether to yourself. Womp womp wasted set pieces. They then tried to fix tethers with the new changes to stalking blast bones turning you into a corpse in the same manor. That just creates a new problem with demolishing the classes only good offensive skill. It doesn’t make sense.

I'm trying to find a way to like it but seriously, I'm not seeing that happening ever... I had almost 3k stam recov and still couldn't maintain it... Plus it feels like it gets snared easier than anything else I've played and I don't understand that either...

I love my PvE Necro healer because of all the buffs and debuffs they provide. That being said, I'm having a hard time PvPing with necros or doing damage in PvE

Necro is about rot and decay. lol, they should have nothing but poison/disease damage, both mag/stam. They dropped the ball, and to be honest, this is their chance to rework that entire class, but we all know how they operate, lol
