That's a horrible disease that your mom suffered from ,I watched it consume the woman who I miss dearly and that was my grandma. Our condolences from up here in Kentucky,Joel you're a good man for taking care of your mom. That truck is looking good so now it's time to move to Kentucky lol
Well, when my Dad passed at 58, that was something everyone was totally unprepared for. With Mom, I knew it was time and even moved her hospital bed into the living room to make it easier for them to get her out of the house the next day. In reality, she had been gone for years but I cared for her every day as I had promised. She never wanted to go to a nursing home, and after repairing kitchen equipment in such facilities for many years, I completely agreed. She put up with me for over 19 years so nearly 5 years is nothing compared to what she did for me.
Kate and I offer our condolences once again. Nice to see the new mirrors are working out well for you. We are looking forward to seeing you at a GTG in the future and it is GREAT to see you back on the road!
Thank you! It was rough for a while because I couldn't seem to concentrate and get anything done. Kept wandering thru the house and doing a little of this and that. I knew I had to jump back on the horse and ride. The mirrors are absolutely great. I'm going to order more of those LED sealed beams and convert this truck too. Looking forward to the next GTG too!
Thank you. It's a horrible disease I pray they find a cure for. My dad had it easy, a massive heart attack. Sorry to hear your grandmother is going thru it. They remember their distant past, like childhood and their careers, but not what you said 5 minutes ago. Cherish their older memories. As we get older, those old stories disappear with the previous generations.
