Very solid build, but don’t plan 6 months in advance. Wait until you’re ready to buy and then choose your parts. Prices will change and this current build might not be good value in a few months. Also, what’s the budget? You might be able to go AM5.
@@cryolite08AM5 is way too expensive tbh. I made 2 configurations, one being AM4, and the other AM5. There's not much difference in performance, but the AM5 one is way pricier. The only downside of AM4 build is that there is no meaningful upgrade available, but I would sell that one out in a few years anyway.
@@bmsuperstar1 the upgrade problem with AM4 doesn’t really matter anymore either. AM6 will probably release in 2025 or 2026, and an AM4 build should easily last 2+ years. You could probably entirely skip AM5 and go straight to AM6.
@@dolanthefacc879 Okay I did some researching, my 5600 is not very suitable for overclocking. I set 1.2v core voltage and 4.7ghz, and it crashes during FPU test. Then I set the volt at 1.3v, core temp straight hit 85 degree. So I gave up and just set it at 4.4Ghz and 1.1v
@@DTWesker i saw many 5600s succesfully hit 4.8ghz at around 1.3 or 1.35v but that kinda depends on the cooling solution and cpus silicone quality. At least now it runs as how it shouldve been so good for you

can go also to 4,6

I upgraded my setup this month and I chose 5600. It's wonderful. And with my old MSI B450 board, overclocking is essy too. Run at 4GHZ now.
4 ghz is low for the 5600. My 5600 is running at 4.475 ghz all core
