      @@GabrielaLtc you're welcome. Some one on here has left the link to the purlsoho scarf cos I've just seen it, if you click the link there's a,picture of a cream coloured scarf and that's the one where they have chosen 49 stitches

      @@GabrielaLtc or you can type purlsoho.com into Google and it brings up the website and then you type trellis scarf into the search icon at the top right of the purlsoho.com website and then it will bring the picture up and just scroll down and it tells you there they used 49 stitches

    Thanks for this demonstration. I thought your video was pretty easy to follow and I've been knitting for just a few months. If I wanted to make a scarf with this pattern, would you recommend doing any kind of stitch on the sides or ends to prevent curling? Thank you!

      Jeje Tam repeat these 8 rows till necessary for completing your project. Next row: purl all sts. Then bind off. For instruction, see www.lionbrand.com/faq/74.html

    How do you knit this in the round?

    • @TheJasosaurus
      @TheJasosaurus 4 роки тому

      Did you figure it out? I'm thinking if you subtract the first stitch and the last two stitches from each row it might work, but I haven't tried yet.

    How to do this in round?

    • @VanillaOrchid95
      @VanillaOrchid95 3 роки тому

      I believe it would be done in multiples of six plus one and just replace all rows that are full purling with a knit stitch instead.

  • @MsDembones
    @MsDembones 9 років тому

    on the website it says multiples of 6, & 3. when i did multiples of 8 plus 1 I ended up with spares

      +MsDembones Sorry for my mistake. The exact pattern is a multiple of 6 stitches plus 3.

      (0:13) Row 1 and all wrong side rows: Purl. It means Rows 1, 3, 5, 7: Purl.

      Who says it's a beginner's pattern? Go find "knitting stockinette for beginners." You need to know how to crawl before you run any marathons.

      As a beginner i think this is simple. No knitting is hard. there are only 2 stitches, knit and purl. Any other pattern is just a combination of those 2. therefore if you can knit and purl you can do anything, as long as you understand terminology on patterns etc
