@@TheGhostOfSmedleyButler That's not a solution. I used to live in MA, but now live in NH which is extremely different. NH actually works to lower taxes each year even when they are already very low. MA politics doesn't change that. One of the most important things in this country is state's rights. We have 50 states that can do things 50 different ways. You should be happy about it. Just don't live in MA, many like myself have moved on. Talking about breaking up the country or forcing every state to be like the states you like is absurd. You want to split the US in half so China can be that much more powerful? The biggest issues in MA are pretty much the same in all Democrat areas, right now they are running roughshod over everyone's rights. Over several decades, the 1033 program has shipped over $7.4 billion of Defense Department property to more than 8,000 law enforcement agencies. that is why the police has been militarize in the recent years because of the pentagon giving them weapons armor trucks and other things The items law enforcement agencies request and receive vary widely: There are 18,202 different types of items in the data.
From an ATM, to a dish cart, to snow mobiles and rifles, looking through what is included and requested by law enforcement is fascinating.
The list below includes some of the most popular items, and at least 10,000 of every item listed below has been distributed.
One of the most popular items is men's underwear. Also, who says "drawers" for underwear, anyway?
Although the most popular item is a military-type item (magazine cartridges), many of the items are not tactical in nature.
What type of equipment is available for law enforcement agencies?
Some examples of the equipment transferred include: 5.56 mm rifles, sleeping bags, 12-gauge shotgun, trucks, .45-caliber pistol, reconnaissance camera system, fixed-wing plane and a coffee maker.
Police receive most of their militarized equipment through two federal programs: the LESO/1033 and 1122 programs. The LESO/1033 program allows the Department of Defense (DoD) to transfer excess military equipment to local law enforcement agencies free of charge, as long as the local agencies pay for shipping and maintenance. The 1122 program allows local police entities to purchase new military equipment using their own funding with the same discounts received by the federal government.

I had to deal with that since the 90s and early 2000s. In the early 2000s we still had to pick up our permits at the police station. Still no chance of getting a all lawful purpose permit. I renewed the officer was nice, but never there. I would call every two weeks is my permit in he would say no. I called one day and he said nope not here, I said really its been 6 months!!!! Then he said ohh yah it's here. I went to pickup my permit and he said he added 6 months extra for renewal. I remembered his name I went to renew and a new police person there, everything seemed good then she started yelling for being 6 months late renewing. She threaten my with fines and jail, and for the first time I yelled at a police officer and said her predecessor and I named him, held my permit for 6 months and he added the months to my renewal!!! She looked again at the screen and said ohhh yah you are right. Every other renewals have been fine. Could not get a non restricted license until Bruen. My point is how much are we going to take before we say bleep you Healy? I remember a time in Mass that you could buy anything, look how far we have fallen. One of the idiots who is in the State Legislature, proposed that if you owned a M1 Garand, that you had to add the M1's Serial Number to each of the 8 round clips you have. Why? @@davidcelio6332 No they won't. Just look at Illinois. They have already openly said they will not comply with any Supreme Court ruling that overturns their ban on semi-automatic rifles.
We need a Gun Rights Act like the Voting Rights Act that requires states with a history of 2nd amendment rights violations to submit potential firearm legislation to the federal judiciary for review before it can be implemented.
As a lifelong Massachusetts resident for 40 yrs good luck trying to take mine!!
My family and I moved out of 5 years ago, one of the best decisions we ever made.
I just can't see how they think this will stand up in court. Unless of course, they just don't care

When the courts are corrupt and packed with leftist activist judges we have no justice -there is just us.
I live in MA and it’s terrible for “gun laws.” It’s gross how much of an infringement this is!!!
@@DavidSequeira-k2z boo hoo, go to the range and shut up

@@billenclosed7131because it’s so white. Both stats are changing.
Since the courts won't uphold the Constitution, the people must. DO NOT COMPLY !
There's no way for the citizens of MA to not comply since MA already made it so insanely hard to own any firearm let alone all the types of firearms they have banned leaving them nothing to fight with. This is how a state / country gains control even if it takes years they just keep chipping away at small things while all the anti-gun people are saying "wE dOnT wAnT tO bAn GuNz, jUsT tHe AR-fiFtEeN" so they just keep going. Banning this, banning that. Now, here we are. Left with a state that literally can not defend itself from a tyrannical government. Sick of people calling us crazy for thinking our government could ever become tyrannical when it's literally happening right in front of us lmao
I won’t
As a current resident of Massachusetts this is starting to make me think of the "Well regulated militia" of the 2nd Amendment
12/15/23 Mass Gov Healey pointed out that these immigrants are in the state lawfully,
Yeah, a primary reason I left that corrupt state.
If I lived in Mass I would ignore that law.

I left 10 years ago and nobody has bothered me since....except MA who sent me a threatening letter in case I had a bump stock (I never have). I sent it back to the head of the registry with a very big FU written across it. Yes, they literally sent it to my address in another state.

how is this even remotely constitutional??? didn't Heller v. DC already settle this issue!?!?!
Citizens have a right to any arms that the government has access to. Our founders never intended for the government to have the upper hand over its citizens.
I grew up in Massachusetts. I joined the service at 18. I got a taste of freedom after that and never, ever considered moving back. Born and raised in Massachusetts. I joined the active duty Army and left for good in 2000. I will never live there again. As others have pointed out, it is cruelly ironic that the birthplace of US liberty is also its grave.
Very happy to have gotten out of MA with my “pre-ban” mags and 80% firearms when I did. Live free or die.
Illinois is way ahead of Massachusetts on manufacturing, and has been for years, Rock Island moved across the river to Iowa a couple of years ago while Springfield Armory left the moment that Illinois adopted its list of banned firearms. Now one of the countries premiere, antique firearms auction houses, Rock River Auctions, has decamped for Texas. Meanwhile our fearless leader, Fat Freddie Pritzcurrs Cousin a retired Illinois National Guard Colonel, has opened a new facility for the families military museum in Somerset Wisconsin, complete with a 25 point firing range, so that " historical researchers" can fire weapons now banned in Illinois, and if that weren't enough my trusted sources ( local residents, that are involved in the 2A community) report that she is also involved in the construction of a new gun shop and range facility, located directly across the street, from the Illinois state line!
Once again the leftist pen seems to be mightier than the Constitution. Thanks for your take LD😎🇺🇸👍
I'm in MA and it's a constant fight. GOAL (Gun Owner Action League) sent this out yesterday. As she said to call your senators and reps. For what good it will do I left vm's for both.. Gets tiring of these attacks. It's easier said then done to leave family, friends, job's and all behind to move to another state that doesn't do this to their people!
Agreed
No, its not. It's "easy" to stay and allow your God given Rights to be denied, trampled, and taken away. It is REALLY EASY to push back, say NO, and stand your ground. OR LEAVE. The thing is, if you want something bad enough, you will make it a priority, and make it happen. There are houses, apartments, land, and tons of jobs the farther south you go. What WILL happen, if the laws get passed and the bans come into effect, is that crime will go through the roof, especially violent crimes COMMITTED WITH GUNS. Because no one will own a gun to protect themselves with anymore because they will be illegal. Criminals don't obey the laws anyways, so they will still have guns. The real shocker comes, when there is a black market, very few gun manufacturers world wide manufacture semi autos. Those are mostly for the US market. The easiest gun in the world to find is a full auto AK-47 or AKM. When the criminals want to import guns illegally, why buy a semi auto for $600 when a full auto AK is available internationally for $200 or less?????????
This government is the reason we were given the second amendment..
Well, wait a minute.....we didn't have a constitution when they included 2A........the 2A existed before the govt. They simply added it into law to get the constitution ratified.......your welcome
Until the federal judges gets tired of complaints and stop the state like they did to ny
Mass has the lowest gun deaths out of any state. Glad I live in NC with my AR, I would cringe if I had to use 10 round mags. That being said the people voted and thats what they wanted and I dont live there so I dont give a shit. It proves that it reduces gun violence. If were lettings the states choose how they want to tackle abortion than they can choose how they tackle gun control. If you dont like it move. There is a black market for guns... there is a black market for abortion... it will happen with anything banned no matter what. If there is something you dont like about your state vote or move. Im not gonna sit here and suck off one side there is a valid argument for both sides.
I have to wonder "What would all those people that participated in the Boston Tea Party in 1773 think about what Massachusetts has become"?
