Cow foot soup is a carribean thing, every mom makes it nicers than the other, when u come back at Belize you have to try our cow foot.

I grew up in Trinidad, and I must say it is so refreshing and heartwarming to see and hear so many positives about Trinidad, as compared to the contrary. The food is so good due to our cultural diversity. The fusions plus the variety of food with our local twist is what makes it taste so good. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Chris you will get addicted to that island. The best in the world for me, mostly because of these people but check the country side now. Its beautiful : green and pretty.

Chris you found a good tour guide there 😅, he gave a good little tour of the heart of Port of Spain . Toco as he said if very nice this time of year . not sure if would be possible but hopefully you can get a chance to meet a soca or calypso artist who can get a brief history on the genre . The steel pan yard sometimes have entertainment . fun fact ; the CARIBANA in Toronto is actually an exported version of Trinidad's carnival which is celebrated by and for all the Caribbean missives . one love

For years, all the news and documentaries coming out of Trinidad was so negative and was only about crimes and murders. Even if it's still going on in the country, everyone that Chris had in the past few videos are nice, genuine people and showing nothing but love!! We need more content like this to be spread around the world that they are Good people EVERYWHERE.

Great Video Chris. Glad to see you enjoying the Trini Cow Heel Soup. Looks amazing. I remember you didn't want to try the Cow Foot Soup in Jamaica, which is the same thing. You said it was something you didn't have any desire to try bc of what it was. But you see how nice it is now that you tried it. It's basically the same thing as you tried in Trinidad. Very tasty and the meat is mainly jelly like but tasty and a little fat as well but it basically quite good. It's also done in a brown sauce with butter beans and served with rice and peas or white rice. Stay safe...

So good to see different areas I had not seen in over 30 years. There is Trini food available in the GTA. Radica's Hot N Spicy in Brampton, Radica's sister Leela operates Leela's on Hurontario. Those are the 2 I've had food from. Ali's in Scarborough. There are some in Ajax, can't say exactly where. Hopefully you can find some of those places when you get back.
