The time handicap at Robert's strength is too much to be an accurate reflection of how close he is to the GM. That being said, Robert leveraged this advantage to a dominant win and his decorum was impeccable.

Robert is probably the best coffee player out of Alan , carlini and the duck. I think it’s safe to say he doesn’t need time advantage now

Robert is way too strong to face 5 mins. vs. 2. Maybe 5 to 4 or even straight up. The game was very one-sided.
Must be noticed the timing : Robert played very fast 2min 47sec vs 1min47sec for the GM. I 'd like to see a 5min/5min game between those 2. Anyway, kind from the GM to entertain uw 👍

7:23, can't you just defend the knight with rook e7?
That's what I thought. Now I'm no expert, but the continuation I saw was White Bg3-h4, Black f7-f6, White Bg4 x e6#. If Black takes White's bishop with the rook, then White's rook can take Black's rook. White get's a pawn and a rook for a bishop. And if the rook doesn't take the bishop, my guess is that the knight still falls, but my brain fizzled out after that :)

Compared to whom? Hikaru? He's a GM and that is why he played 5:2 against an IM. If it is 5:5 he certainly would not blunder that much.

About 2,000 GM titles have been awarded. Chirila is ranked 532 in the world. This together with some impressive performances in major tournaments (see his wikipedia page) convinces me that he is clearly an above average GM. Time odds give a big advantage...that's why they're called odds. I will always remember playing an IM at 5:1 in Harvard Square for the better part of an hour. I won about 40% of the games and was probably 1600-1700 strength. We stopped because he "wasn't making money fast enough" and offered to give me lessons, which I did for a little while.
