Shinkula Pass Winter Ride | OMG 😱 "Storm" Stopped Us | Lahual Expedition featuring

We planned an expedition to the Stormy Shinkula in Lahaul, however things did not turn out as we planned.
On day 1, we attempted our first climb towards Shinkula, but were stopped by the BRO (Border Roads Organisation) because of a road closure ahead of us. There was an avalanche and despite several attempts by the BRO to clear the roads, we were told to return. We however headed to Sethan and Hampta Pass for a drive in the snow, with mesmerising views. We even stopped for some coffee, brewed freshly with the Sleepy Owl Dark Roast coffee.
On day 2, our second attempt, we resumed our expedition from our Manali base camp and headed towards Darcha, which is enroute to Shinkula. We were again stopped by the BRO due to road closures and had to return unsuccessfully. We made our way to a remote village and had a fun drive in the snow.
The expedition did not meet our expectations, however you can say we did not return empty handed.
