There some shockingly bad how to videos out there with annoying music, but this as your previous comments have said was excellent, clear, precise, and clinically explained. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
If you have problem that key is mooving slightly after closing you can repair it too. Behind the logo is a screw that is holding it. The locking pin is probably snaped, just glue it in one piece and you are done. (i done it in Fabia vRS 2005 key that looks similar).
Very clear. What about changing the actual car battery. Is it safe to do this as a diy job? Do I need to worry about radio codes or any other settings or can I just swap them over? Many thanks.
I beleive you don't have to worry about the radio code on these a they are integral to the car. You will need to re-set the power windows and power sunroof and a couple of lights on the dash may or may not appear, but should go out once driven as the car re-learns the things like the steering and press on the brakes :-)

Wouldn't use anything else except Mobil in my BMW K1100RS. I see that people use Shell Helix but which one: Helix AV-L 0w-30 or Helix Ultra ECT C2/C3 0w-30? What's the difference other than price? What brand of oil filter would you recommend?
I haven't a particular preference, would always recommend top brands, but cost always keeps me from top brands, so I always try to change out more frequently, which I believe is the best way to go to preserve the engine - getting rid of particles and degradation before they can do harm :-) - (currently using Mannol)
