❗️Tornado/Severe Weather Awareness Mode: March 1 - May 31, 2024
Welcome to Weather Watcher! I’m 17 years old, and as my channel name implies, I love weather! Throughout my life, I’ve had many interests and hobbies, but none of them have stuck with me quite as long as meteorology.
It all started in 2021 when I created my UA-cam channel. At first, I didn’t really have a plan for what I would post; but it wasn’t long before I began creating forecasts. My weather forecasts and then eventual incorporation of livestreams helped my following grow steadily between late 2021 into 2023.
In early 2023, I finally started using my real voice to narrate my forecasts, which was a challenge for me personally… but it proved to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my channel. By October 2023, my channel underwent another major change… tracking European weather!
Thanks for reading this quick synopsis, and I appreciate your ongoing support!

I personally like when you give some longer run predictions. Last autumn you predicted dry and cold winter/spring for Nordic due to El Nino and it was like that, then you predicted colder then usual April and warmer then usual May and it is exactly like that. I love those general few months ahead predictions. It does not need to be accurate but just broadly to understand what to expect. These weekly updates are good as well to understand the current weather. Thanks for both. Appreciate that.
Really glad to hear you liked them! I’d like to get my summer forecast out soon… so I’ll remember to factor that into my schedule in the coming week.
@WeatherWatcher14 I agree, it's very much appreciated.
Thank you! Appreciate your time to put this information together for us here in the UK. Cheers
You’re welcome!
Rain in the UK, who would have thought it? We've had four dry days and now it's wet again, it's 11 months now since we had a week of continuous dry weather and has never been known since records began.
Well.... If they stopped spraying the sky, we'd get real weather
I'm happy to have some rain, some sun, thus it's always been.
@@keithfreeman7725 spot on Keith
Fear not…..there will still be the annual Hose Pipe Ban coming to your local area very soon no doubt!
@@keithfreeman7725 - grow up
West coast Ireland here, been a pretty good day overall, with an odd shower but warm. No real sign of this storm so I am suspecting it was much further south than I expected. Carried the umbrella with me all day and thankfully had little use for it. The power of an umbrella to keep the rain away, literally ha.
A lot of "pests from the west" this year for you guys! Back to video-making, already released 3, and will release an update on the cold blasts incoming for the US in the May 20's. Also, we are already past Mid-May!
It's interesting that in German, where I live the country has been completely split for a few days. The northeast is totally dry and sunny and the south west has way over average rainfall. This pattern will persist this week for sure. The West and the south will probably get flood warnings since the soil is completely saturated and the east already has got heightened wild fire warnings. 🤔
I'm in France, and we have already had more rainfall than usual for May.
Oh yeah, it’s been very active there!
Over 2 weeks with no rain in Poland
I’m going to travel to UK from Gothenburg this weekend, was hoping for a bit dryer weather. Oh well, hoping the rain stays outside the pubs
We in SW Andalusia get something special as well. Cool weather. Below average. Come visit soon before the heat is on us. Thank you for sharing this update. Much appreciated as always.
You’re very welcome, definitely enjoy the lower temperatures while they last!
farm is looking good .
There you are.. i missed you.. 🤗 Thank you.. 👍
You’re welcome! Welcome back to a new video!
@@WeatherWatcher14 Thank you very much!
Looks like Belgium is going to get some pretty heavy rain?

@@craft-o-matic399 You’re welcome, and that’s correct! Maybe some stronger storms as well.
@@WeatherWatcher14 Thank you so much!

Thankful great job ❤ 4:39 😊Greetings from Crete Greece 🇬🇷 ❤❤❤
Thank you, greetings from Iberia!
Just now, completely wet under the storm while riding my moto in the Northern side of Madrid, with the tail of the monster
Excellent presentation! Muchas gracias! ♾
Thank you, y de nada!
Thank you for this update,be safe and healthy.
Thank you.. missed you! 🏴💖
You’re welcome! :)
Oh great... We're going to get flooded out here in Luxembourg- First BBQ on the 9th of May, another one on the 12th, looks like that was our lot!
I definetely am, living next to the river
Thank you❤
You’re welcome!
oh come ooon ! We only had a week of sun in 10 months in France !
we had a two day warm event in Scotland, meaning above average, a short break in constant arctic air
Just a little sleet from fast passings by clouds yesterday. Not much rain in Dublin, today 13/05. I expected more due to the high temperature and the "electric crispness" on Saturday. Everything is under control🤖
Thanks! I love your channel❤❤
You’re welcome, and I’m happy to hear it! Thanks!
Obrigado.
Cumprimentos desde Lisboa 🇵🇹 Portugal .
According to the met office, its a mixed bag of warm weather with some rain and plenty of dry in between, no mention of any big storms. In Paisley on Sunday afternoon we did have a 10 minute thunderstorm which went away as fast as it arrived.
Here in Cork, Ireland, where the depression is supposedly centered, it's been raining heavily all night between the 12th and the 13th, until about 11am. After that, all afternoon was sunny and bright, the evening turning a bit chilly: no trace of any rain or wind or anything.
Makes sense, since the rainfall is much less widespread/heavy closer to the center rather than along the occluded/cold front(s). Classic non-tropical cyclones!
Another brilliant forecast ❤
Thank you!!
Your headline reminds me of the Rendelsham Forest Incident 😅
Weather Watcher, many thanks!
Muito obrigado!
Keep them coming!
👍
You’re welcome!! 😀
It has been a wild rollercoaster in Finland, from snowy end of April to early May heat wave. May is typically dry and beautiful month in Finland, depending on latitude.
Thank you very much, much appreciated 🇬🇧👍
You’re welcome, glad you enjoyed!
Great forecast, like the cooler than normal to Portugal.
All thanks to this storm system lingering nearby… going to send in some NW flow into the western half of Iberia.
It's coldish again here in Colares, Sintra (Portugal) with some very light rain on and off
Vhemtrails, cloudseeding...They own the weather.
thx from Belgium
You’re welcome!
Finally some rain in Luxembourg, these days have been boiling with 22 degrees!
Thanks for your work from a wet but green south west France.
You're welcome!!
THANKS ❤️ ❤❤❤
You’re welcome!
Spring was slow coming, but it came with a bang, the glorious Nordic high pressure has been here, 5 days of clear blue sky, sunshine and budding trees here in Southern Sweden. Life is good again. F snow!
That’s awesome!
In the Netherlands, after 8 months of rain, cold and wind, a few acceptable days, even a few good days. But even on the good days, it's gonna rain again. And now we better prepare ourselves again for high water coming from the east.
I got sunburned... in Germany.
(Your weather report is stunningly good!)
Wow, that’s hard to believe!
And thank you!! :)
Sunday evening/night here in rural West Central Scotland we had almost continuous lightening from around 1830 to 2am Sunday with torrential downpours, not a lot of thunder and most of the lightening was arc between clouds and not coming down to the ground. The only other time I have seen rain come down like it was when I was Captain of a large containership berthed in Mumbai Port on the first day of the SW Monsoon a few years ago when there was almost 2m of rainfall in 24 hours!
WoW 🤯
Your Simply The Best 🎉🎉🎉 ❤
Thank you 🙂
Good evening WW. you were not wrong about the storms over much of the UK, I did think that were going to start with summer, how wrong I was. Thank you for the update.
Good evening! Yeah they were rather impressive. Should be an interesting next few months…
Changes mostly for western Europe and rain for the uk and Parts of Spain.
As a winemaker, I love your forecast. Gives a good idea of what to expect and why
Happy to hear that!
I thought I was gonna get thunderstorms all I got were cool cumulonimbus clouds in the distance. It was a max of 26c sunday and today around 20c. hope the UK gets a good summer. if it dont holiday season is good for my parents to afford 😂
So my Italian terrace garden is looking like an English country garden. Green lush and blooming. The streams are all flowing as are the rivers. It’s cooler and wetter than I’ve ever known and the locals are fed up with it now. And it seems another week of it will persist.
Wow…
please note, ireland is not part of the british isles.
I know 🙂
Is there any chance of this pattern breaking anytime soon? In Belgium we're absolutely CRAVING some eastern winds and solid dry weather.
Hm, unfortunately I’m not seeing that in the immediate future… although June might bring some improvements at times. Still looks quite stormy in northwest Europe for a while.
Awesome, thx for the bad news! Joking aside , great forecast thank you.
Ouch 🤣😅 Thanks, you’re welcome!
🤣🤣 it's part off there game.🙈
It "shouldn't" be, but in Cork, southern tip of Ireland, 9 pm Monday 13th May: coolish, clear skies, hardly a breath of wind. A tranquil storm.
When can we expect rain in Poland? It is very very dry....
Hm, looks dry still in the near future… but later in the month we may see some more action.
Hi, good evening. I would like to share this on fb but it seems impossible. I don't know why.
Strange. What do you mean by impossible? Is it on Facebook’s end or UA-cam?
@@WeatherWatcher14 I like to share this UA-cam video of fb so my friends can know you too. But i'm not able to do so. It's strange . . . I can share other videos on UA-cam with no problem.

Well if they STOP cloud seeding, the weather will go back to normal.
cloud what?
@@WeatherWatcher14 Cloud seeding is a weather modification technique that improves a cloud's ability to produce rain or snow by introducing tiny ice nuclei into certain types of subfreezing clouds. These nuclei provide a base for snowflakes to form. HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS? They have been doing it or at least 25yrs or more... do some research, there is plenty from official sights.

Chem trails to blame for all this. I have never seen weather like this for this time of year - and I am old.

By the way I'm colour blind so your shades of colour tell me nothing.
Oh, I’m sorry to hear that! Is there certain colors you can see? If so, please let me know!
@@WeatherWatcher14 very kind of you to ask, I can see colour but I can't easily identify the colour. Cardinal colours are clear cut, shades are difficult. Colour blindness is quite common in men although it's always assumed everyone can see what a colour is, that's just not so.
@@shaungillingham4689 That’s very interesting, thanks for letting me know! Do you think it would help if I added some Text over each color shade, so you knew what it meant? Because a lot of times I just show my maps with into explanation, and I don’t always add the text over it.
