Welcome to Weather Watcher! I’m 17 years old, and as my channel name implies, I love weather! Throughout my life, I’ve had many interests and hobbies, but none of them have stuck with me quite as long as meteorology.
It all started in 2021 when I created my UA-cam channel. At first, I didn’t really have a plan for what I would post; but it wasn’t long before I began creating forecasts. My weather forecasts and then eventual incorporation of livestreams helped my following grow steadily between late 2021 into 2023.
In early 2023, I finally started using my real voice to narrate my forecasts, which was a challenge for me personally… but it proved to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my channel. By October 2023, my channel underwent another major change… tracking European weather!

I really like this layout. I also keep on praising that you show more than what most national weather stations will show. Just by displaying the Atlantic Ocean from USA to Europe. There is so much more information coming the Atlantic. Yet in the Netherlands they only show you half the Ocean, and then the meteorologist quikly stands in front of all the rain that's coming from there. Or they just blatantly seem to ignore it and then they talk in circles, with a few chaotic graphs to get you through the bad news and put you back to sleep. This weather report points out the possible areas of rain very clear, keeps noting the risk for floods and even high water. I've even seen soil saturation models. Really a refreshing way of presenting the European weather. Quality information.

@@frankdriesen9419 I never said that. It's more a resume about flawed weather report by national weather channels. Not the implication that those national weather channels hide yet another conspiracy.

You're absolutely right. In Belgium, the 'weather forecast' is on the level of a 5-year old with a severe attention disorder. They start with telling what kind of weather it was (!!), then what it will be, and then again. The weatherperson also eclipses most of Europe, and the one who doesn't is all the time shaking his elbows. Not a word about the jetstream or other bigger patterns that explain stuff. Heck, they probably don't know if a HIgh is a cyclone or an anticyclone. Mister Weather Watcher does such a way better job: concise, very informative and he talks not like he's presenting a bingo afternoon for elderly retards. Great work man!

Impressed with your clear, quick analysis. (First time listener…why you came in my feed? ) I wish the You Tubers here in the USA used your approach. They, as a general rule, need to talk for 10-15 minutes to give the national weather. Annoying, to say the least.
Wow that’s interesting! I used to post videos for America since I’m from there, but about a year ago my family moved to Europe so I shifted my focus to European weather. I occasionally talk about American weather in my longer videos so you may see some info for over there from time to time!

@@WeatherWatcher14 just gone through it, heavy hail about 1/2" - 5/8". Fields here are planted with a lot of sunflowers, so they may be damaged. Hail cannon had little affect.
I don’t mind the rain quite as much as the biting cold we have in the west of England. Could do with some sun getting through as it’s too cold for my veg baby plants in the polytunnel. Thank you WW. It’s great to have you telling us the true forecasts. Much love and thanks sweetheart. ❤

In Romania there are a lot of red and orange thunderstorm warnings at the moment. A massive multi-cell thunderstorm system is moving through. My hometown got destroyed by hail, flooding and strong winds.

In Bucharest my father lost electricity for a while

I was watching radar as Bucharest got hit. Very intense storm
@WeatherWatcher14 The water was at half a meter deep. I think the most highest places it reached was 70cm, which is phenomenal. One of the worst storms in the last 50 years! Not sure if it was a supercell or just very severe thunderstorms.
Storm with enormous hail here in Bulgaria yesterday.
bruh.. hailstorms are incredible destructive. We had on two years ago - 30 minutes... Roofs, windows, cars broken in masses.
The repairs have not yet been completed everywhere.

Really like your channel. Very informative and a nice oversight of the weather systems. I’m just wondering what you define as a storm. Where I come from (Netherlands) a storm is a Beaufort scale 9 and above event, it’s more connected to wind force. Most of the storms mentioned for our area feel like ordinary weather to me.
Had a weird cough since Monday evening right after the huge amounts of rain in the Netherlands that day.. the next day I felt really bad.. no energy in my limbs and arms, went to work though (I work in a 2 degree celsius warehouse) felt worse during the day and left an hour early. the next day I had almost a 40 degree fever which got better the next day.. coughing stayed. yesterday I had a really bad cold with lots of sneezing... today the snot is turning yellow... It's June.

Why do you so often refer to these storms in a derogatory manner? Here in Spain we are still feeling the effects of a multi year drought.
Because the UK/Ireland have seen nearly nonstop rain for over a year, when I refer to storms impacting that region, I refer to them as a “Pest”. But I know it’s the complete opposite for those in Iberia or other southern areas.
SOOOOOOOOO wish we could swap our weather here in the UK with yours if just for 3 or 4 months would be lovely.
Feast or famine, severe drought and constant rain have one thing in common. Both have a serious effect on food production, an unsown field, either due to drought or flooding, is out of production. We will have to get used to it as everything will get far worse than it is now. Hope you get some rain very soon and your water providers get their pipes fixed.
@@stevenhoward9926 Maybe you don't remember the 1975/6 UK drought, we whent around 16 months praying for rain, so be careful what you wish for, it was a nightmare.
@@edwardbernthal160 Yes I remember it well, I was 13 in 1976 and it was wonderful played out [ foot ball etc etc ] went swimming built dens etc etc , do you remember kids didn't sit in doors all day / night on there phones / computer's eating fast food. PS. I did say for 3 - 4 months [ OK ].

As normal, and I live in the nordic countrys, nothing has changed during my livespan, spans over 70 years. The differens now and then, is the media. A matriculate way to scare the public.
I'm living in central europe for 63 years now......and the weather/ climate definitely changed during the last 3-4 decades. It got warmer ( shorter winter seasons), the storms and rainfalls became stronger and stronger, the heat waves longer and longer and so on.. -- you are just ignoring reality! I just can speculate about your reasons ( maybe to feel less guilty about your lifestyle?) ....but anyway: climate change is REAL!
