❗️Tornado/Severe Weather Awareness Mode: March 1 - May 31, 2024
Welcome to Weather Watcher! I’m 17 years old, and as my channel name implies, I love weather! Throughout my life, I’ve had many interests and hobbies, but none of them have stuck with me quite as long as meteorology.
It all started in 2021 when I created my UA-cam channel. At first, I didn’t really have a plan for what I would post; but it wasn’t long before I began creating forecasts. My weather forecasts and then eventual incorporation of livestreams helped my following grow steadily between late 2021 into 2023.
In early 2023, I finally started using my real voice to narrate my forecasts, which was a challenge for me personally… but it proved to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my channel. By October 2023, my channel underwent another major change… tracking European weather!
Thanks for reading this quick synopsis, and I appreciate your ongoing support!

25°C expected today in Tampere, Finland. Sunny skies, wonderful weather. There is a yellow alert on forest fires and it is forecast to become more severe coming week, so even though people are outdoors a lot, no camp fires.
Thanks for the today's Europe weather forecast, Weather Watcher!
Remarkable how the drought patches in Germany and the Netherlands exactly coincide with the regions that produce most food in those regions. What a coincidence! Meantime, it's 14ºC here in Portugal. It's May 18th.
What does that coincidence tell you?
Such conditions always leave me torn. I love a good storm, but I love riding my bike, too. Such a dilemma!
Take care, all who are in the danger zones. Thanks, Weather Watcher!
You’re welcome! Enjoy your weekend.
There's something in the air in the UK, weird cloud formations too, and too wet this year and last year as well. I've never seen the woods and countryside look so lush and beautiful though. Something's a foot... but what... the solar storms are coming again over the next week or two.
Not sure how terrestrial climate affects solar flares/storms. Maybe vice versa, but I don't know. It's a good job humans can't have any short term effects climate or seismic events, isn't it?
Here in my spot in the middle of the Nethetlands all is green and growing fast! 'Our own rainforest'.
Nothing to do with geo engineering, cloud seeding or certain high power aerial arrays in remote places, of course
Yes, it is the coming of the gaint jelly and ice-cream monster from Jupiter that feeds on people thoughts and feeds on thier poo, and the whole world and the universe is gonna be turned into jelly and ice-cream. Magic mushrooms will be on the menu as well. God was smoking weed, and that is the consequence.
@@keithhutchins8966 yes solar weather effects terrestrial weather!
🌞 From Sweden, the weather is awesome , clear blue sky, its summer in may , we hope it will last.
Thanks for your fantastic forecasts 👌
That’s great, and thank you!
My weather report for today 17th May 2024 from the Forêt de Gascogne south of Bordeaux:- Thunderstorms this afternoon, with intermittent dry spells between showers later on. A rainbow just poking through the clouds towards the east not long before sunset. With a big rainstorm without thunder just before that.
All lakes around here are pretty full. No panic though, rainy months of May in the South West of France aren't all that unusual, we can handle it. I've known years were there's hardly been a drop of real sun until early to mid-June. The rain's quite healthy for us, although undeniably really really rainy!

Crystal clear and windy for the past few days here in Warsaw.

17th of May is Norway's constitutional national day in Scandinavia, and we experienced extreme record high temperatures all over the country, all the way up north of the Arctic polar circle. Bright midnight sun and such a wonderful weather. I believe this will be another summer with hot conditions all across the Northern hemisphere. Thanx for an absolutely magnificent forecast program here on YT. 😎👍
That’s impressive. It wasn’t too long ago that it was snowing there!!
And I’m glad you like these videos, thank you!! 😄
Weather has been rough in the past week here in northern Italy on the 15th we had an extensive patch of territory with 200mm of rain in a day, with flood in areas where they're uncommon (plain with no big rivers nearby).
Here in Malta is cloudy with dusty rain everything brown with dessert rain 😢
That pic from Belgium is a cloud formation that has become very familiar in southeast England as well. And we have been having a lot of storms lately.
Still cool here in northern Italy and rain. Garden looks English cottage type not med crisp. Have to say it’s been really easy going. I’m sure it’ll turn itself up to furnace June.
Some places here in the UK have been treated to the Northern lights under clear skies then a lightning show on other nights
Amazing!
We have had hot strong winds here in Southern Jutland Denmark for the last 4 days and it's shirt sleeves weather, it's crazy.
A thought: don't say "my audience", say "you".
Regarding precipitation in Copenhagen, Denmark: I was astounded the other day - I got absolutely drenched the other day on a 15 minute trip to a local shop. Otherwise the rain seems to have been going around us. In fact I haven't needed winter boots for the last three years - no snow! Currently, without heating at 22:51, it's 26C/79F in my living room.
same here in Sønder Jylland
I'm on holiday in Copenhagen right now, avoiding the rain in the UK. It's great! 😂
Hi,
As always, very good, clear and exact information on the weather for the next few days, and the causes of the weather pattern.
Keep going!
Cheers!!
Hello! Thank you so much, I appreciate the support!
Nearly 150mm of rain here, Lake Maggiore, since Tuesday evening. I can't even get outside to water the garden.
Are your water butt's full now, ready for summer?
Thanks for a USA Forecast! Your Severe Weather Maps are really good, but I have an idea for an addition. How about place labels?
Great update. Shared to my friends. Now using your forecast for my business as we work outside. Not happy with the rain incoming but when are we ever happy with the weather !!! +1
Thanks for watching!!
Great video weather watcher!!!
Thank you!
Could you please put in the days and hours on the maps so that we can follow along better? Love your work!
I’ll see what I can do :) Glad you like it!
As usual a very interesting forecast
Scotland has plenty of moisture as the spring water holes are everywhere it will never dry out compared to the rest of the world… brilliant ground for growing potatoes and veg
I wonder if we will ever hear any more good news about the WEATHER??, It seems the weather forecast is full of DOOM AND GLOOM. We had bad weather events in every century. But now it seems according to the "SO CALLED EXPERTS"there is only bad weather events
I live in Ireland 🇮🇪 since 1981 and the weather was very varied every year admitted we do get more than our share of rain and do have quite a bit of flooding. But a lot of this is due to BAD PLANNING BY CO. COUNCILLORS that gave permission to build on flood plains especially along the major rivers like the SHANNON LEE IN CORK ETC .that's why we have flooding because of the INCOMPETENCE OF THE PLANNING PERMISSION not so much the weather itself
Can I remind you that 1850 to nearly 1860 there was EXTREME rain 🌧 fall in Ireland 🇮🇪. That's why we had the potato 🥔 FAMINE nobody ever mentions this now.
So in conclusion stop this hysterical scam and scaremongering about climate change thanks
It is just nature's cycles
You were right for the Netherlands, but... our region (1km. wide) remains rather dry and sunny but not too hot.
Seems to be the pattern for the last several years in Bulgaria. Normally april would be warm and dry, may warm and wet and then dry summer. Now it's cold and wet until June. It's very unusual but for last at least 4 years this has been the pattern. I have never had heating going here in middle of May.
Has not been warm enough for potatoe beetles yet here in eastern Hungary
Warm in Scotland, 24C today and not complaining.
Summer and sun in Sweden☀️☀️

You’re welcome!!
Tuesday severe weather-wise looks very volatile! It could really amount to something!
Keep it!
3am 22nd May its been raining cats and dogs for hours in Bedfordshire. Being mid England of course we get rain but by gum, this is a LOT of rain for our county 😬
Thank you for that update 🫶🏻 In Saarland, Southwest Germany, a lot of flood damage happened related to massive rainfall with up to 100 liter/square meter/24h
Yellow grass in Poland, IN MAY ALREADY...
wow, I had already 3 cuts of green grass since february here in Northern Croatia
In Ireland we're already onto weekly cuts.

In Lithuania, the summer came 2 weeks earlier, then usually and that caused a thunderstorm, which had hail of half a centimeter on May 25th, atleast it wasn't damaging hail and still until June, it's gonna be hot
Happy for still gorgeous weather in southern Norway. Let the rain take elswhere.
Great forecast! Amazing work and presentation, as always! I was missing your updates! ☺️🤗
Thank you!! 🤗
Only in dutch nice to hear or read: 'regen is zegen': 'rain is a blessing'. The 'r' and the 'z' when written in handwriting all ost look the same. But we had too much the last half year and now in some places 50cm. in some hours in one small place. The sun will have to dry the soil.
Phew so looking forward to sunshine and no rain for a bit but it looks like we will have to wait a bit here in Belgium. thank you
You’re welcome!
We are due to go to the moselle region of Germany next week on holiday, but may need to reconsider those plans if the water levels rise. Many thanks for the heads up.........keep up the very informative weather reports🥰🌧☔

Good Evening again WW, thanks for another update on the weather, it doesn't look as if things change much for the South Coast of the UK, we have had a few dry days with the sun showing it's self but it looks as if it's back to normal. Thanks again.
Good evening William! You’re welcome. Enjoy your weekend!

In the Lohja area ( southern Finland), it is way too warm for May and dry. Everything is blooming too fast. Rains are needed. Fire alert all the way up till Oulu. No camp fires allowed. I wonder how dry and hot this summer will be 😱
Here in the Netherlands it is raining and flooding.
absolute sids law that we're stuck under a blocked low !!! we need a long period of dry weather in the UK . Hasnt really been dry for nearly two years now !!
We've got more hailstorms here in Hungary in the weekend, than all the last summer combined. Fortunately it was only pea or cherry sized max, so they lacked devestating effects.
Wow!
u are always doing a great jopb. greetings from germany
Thank you, greetings from Portugal!
Will this stop? Is it only this year? It feels like it's been fall season for 8 months now in the Netherlands and I'm so done with it
Succinctly put. Nice to find somewhere to enjoy reading comments. Deal UK. Somebody has been, ahem, acquiring our local weather over last 10 years or so. Looking at comments below, I think its Belgium. If someone from region of Brittany can tell me what their weather was like 10 years ago...I think I found it 🙂
Thank you for your excellent weather forecast, you are up-to-date and understandable, I am still following you, real turbulence is coming ⛈️🌪️⚡
Thanks for your continued support!! I appreciate it 🙂
@@WeatherWatcher14 I didn't get too much rain in my area of the middle Adriatic, it was more localized, I think the jet stream blew up a lot of sand and that is being washed away by precipitation, I'm hoping for more heavy rain on Tuesday in the Adriatic
Can you include the rest of N America? Canada and Mexico don’t seem to have any weather.
Can you include the canary Islands. Please 🙏 🙏 love your forcast! Thanks 👍
Yes! You’re welcome!
I work outside in Bavaria Germany your weather forecast is priceless!! Thank you so much . Your voice is goddess like. We hope your not AI

Hello 👍👍👍👍
Hi!
Our house almost got flooded with this storm last night
Oh my 😨
@@WeatherWatcher14 Yes, it was pretty exciting, everyone going outside to check the water level at 22:30 along with the fire brigade
Did the Beaufort Gyre release?
Hi ww👍
Hey!
Thank you, Do you think the South of England and the English Channel Islands will get a very hot Summer this year, I ask because I hate thunder storms. 😢
Hmm, I’ll have to do more research.
The unfortunate truth is that Ireland can look forward to rain and drizzle and cloudy skies as usual, with hungry midges ready to swarm anyone foolish enough to wander past during any drier intervals….
Too much rain in England this year
Since milion year😂
Morning weather watches.
Good morning!
Thanks for the update but why is weather in N America included?
Because I have some viewers from there and I thought that I should make it part of my videos to talk a little bit about the U.S as well… and the U.S is where I’m from so I do like to talk about it as well :)

is this due to El Nino?
It’s hard to say, since El Niño is ending and it’s so far away.

nou als dat waar is we merken er nog niets van nog geen zon in Nederland
🫡
First : "warm temperatures" is wrong , incorrect language , a common error . Temperatures are high or low , weather is warm or cold . Temperature is a scale of measurement , not a condition .
It should be "high temperatures" or "warm weather" , "warm temperatures" is mixed up , showing lack of understanding the meaning of the word temperature , not thinking for yourself but repeating what others say , including the mistakes (of course) .
Second : define extreme .
Humans have only been measuring temperatures for about 250 years , not very accurate in the beginning and only locally . Two hundred years ? Since the last ice age about 12500 years have past , 250 is 2 percent . So the word "extreme" is bases on measurements of only 2 percent of the time past since the last ice age . Dismissed , lol.
Since the last ice age there have been several periods with temperatures higher than current , and lower . The planet thrived when warm : flora, fauna and human activity . Europe went into the dark ages when it was colder : crop failure , famine and disease. The last cold period was the little ice age that simmered out around 1800 AD . The little ice age was the coldest period since the last ice age , gletsjers reached their maximum expansion in 12500 years .
Meaning : humans started measuring temperatures after the coldest period since the last ice age , so any conclusions thereof , like "extreme" in this case , are a grave misrepresentation when you look at the bigger picture .
But you don't learn this at school , do you ? Not anymore ....
"Educate yourself , no one else will " .
Spot on with the European flash flooding,
Moselle France ua-cam.com/video/Vph2S7y6zhM/v-deo.html
and in Italy too.
