As long as they can work out the kinks first. Buddy sent his Macro to SIG, twice. My P365 has rusted to shit from daily carry. I don’t know if I could spend that kind of money on a gun that’s rusted as bad a mine has. Looking at the new HK micro.

Sig is what I keep in a retention holster under my office desktop for immediate access. I rely on Sig because I trust Sig products. Love you sig! For me, the p365 is the greatest firearm ever. Many come close like cz p10 series, but I live my life with my p365x glued to me. Got my tacops 4 weeks ago! Love it. I like the comp version as well but this model is a better bang for your buck. Mine only came with 3 magazines however, not 4. From someone who’s gone through many, many rounds and shot every 9mm you can imagine, don’t hesitate if you are looking at these models.
Are you running it for concealed carry? If so, what kind of holster are ya running? I just ordered my Tac Ops!

I bought a Macro grip off someone the week the comped Macro came out. Been running a Macro grip for a long time now and love it.
Can't wait till next year for the 365 Macro tac+ extreme 2.0 duty carry edition with high quality pajeet made steel!

I’m sick of the same p365 dressed in diff sizes. I want a p365 da/Sa or a hi cap (10+1) p938. Not everyone wants the same bs over and over.

SIG, I've been a customer since the P938 12 years ago. You didn't fail me until my Xmacro started rusting and told me I had to pay for a new finish. It's clear it a Quality Control issue and not just mine. I've started buying Springfield/Glock firearms since. To say that I'm disappointed in you guys is the understatement of the year
That slide catch / release 😁 lever is very welcome. 👍 I don’t know why manufacturers have to have such a difficult to operate lever. Even just a little bit more than what they’re giving us. 👌Doesn’t have to be radical.

Because that was never the proper way to release the slide. Dumdum
It's because a hard to actuate release can usually still be depressed when you're high on adrenaline and most people slingshot anyway.
But extended slide catches commonly get held down which failes to lock back on last round. More rare (but also much worse) is getting held upward, and locking the slide mid magazine.
That's why manufacturers don't just make extended slide catches on all guns. Like magazine catches, there's a trade off when you make them easier to hit.
Have one on the way to my LGS already, will be my summer carry.
I couldn’t wait for one to make it to my dealer, so I converted a spare 365 XL to this configuration. It’s very impressive. So good I find it distracts me from other guns.
I did the same and yes it’s a very impressive combination.
The new canik MC9 has a better trigger, just as accurate as my x macro comp and it's $450.
My X Macro comp is a more full featured gun with less recoil but the canik mc9 is still very controllable and the trigger has a shorter reset. Something to think about if you wanna buy something really good on a budget.
Next will be the 365-xmacro-x2 full size with built in laser / light combo in the recoil spring assembly.
You all just keep raising the bar. I can't wait to add one of these to my collection.

It's a better buy 2 extra mags, magwell flare, extended mags release for the same price as the macro.
Can't wait to see Magguts make a +2 solution for this. 19 rounds in that size pistol will be unbelievable.

If by "new products", you mean re-configured pre-existing products, than I agree. This new gun was originally supposed to be released with suppressor height sights but didn't, that's a bummer. Glad I went with the sig P365 x macro comp instead of waiting. The only thing new on this brand new variation is the slide release. The mag wells have been available aftermarket for a while now and look identical to this one. Although the new re-configured gun is cool, I feel the new slide release would be less comfortable for conceal carry and the mag well would only cause more printing under clothing. There is already a slight flare at the bottom of the p365x macro comp grip so I've never had any difficulty feeding mags to it. All and all sig is badass though. Problem is that they know it and treat customers accordingly.

Bought the original P365, but traded it for a Hellcat when the firing pin drag problem was revealed. Then traded the Hellcat for a P365XL as it carried more rounds. Then traded it for a Hellcat Pro as I liked it better and it holds 15 rounds. Then got the FDE version cause it's prettier😆.......then today I just bought a P365 TacOps because I think it's the best of them all. But I'm keeping my Hellcat Pro too, I like them both.
It’s almost feels like trial and error with these new additions… make a gun, sell it, await customer feedback, make another version… rinse repeat. I mean I just purchased the x macro last year and behold, the new macro 2.0… should we await new x macro 3.0 in the fall. More suspense than the iPhones!

The ami slide release is clutch
This 4 inch barrel but with the slide extended for a single port comp would be sweet . I like comps but hate sacrificing ballistics with a 3 inch barrel

I’m a big Glock fan, I have the 19, 43, and 43X. I also have the SF Hellcat and hellcat pro. The Sig Sauer P365X is hands down my favorite. Less pop, fits the hand very nicely and it holds 17+1. It’s my EDC ever since I got it. Holding a Glock just feels weird now

Just ordered mine to complement my standard p365. Gonna put a EPS Carry on it and swap slide and fcu for when I want to carry smaller. Also gonna take advantage of that free 3 17rd mag promo as well

What's offensive about this release is that they include 4 mags, an enhanced slide catch, and a magwell...for like $100 less than the "comp" version that only got 2 mags and no new enhanced catch or magwell...LOL
Yes, I think this is definitely a better deal over the comp’d original.
@@PezRacer the worst part is... The comp is arguably effective at all due to the fact that the barrel is simply shorter than the slide rather than having ports. I think it helps but probably minimal compared to the claims.

@@Golden.Buddha yeah, the comp seems a little gimmicky to me in the comparisons that I’ve seen. Most say it’s only about a 10% reduction in recoil. For me, I’d rather have this version without the comp, which gives you a slightly longer barrel, increased velocity, and a longer sight radius. I just sold an original p365 and that recoil always felt perfectly fine to me. This one with the full macro grip should feel even better. Whether you own the original macro or this new version, they’ll both be great!

Just purchased the P365 X Macro Tac Ops but have to wait to shoot it until the cartridges are pinned. Very excited about this purchase and can't wait to try it.

I won't buy one until they do. For the price they are asking a little rust protection is expected. Until then I will just stick with Canik's new offering.
Sig Sauer, for the love of God, please please please give ranges more options to have the Tacops as a rental. I'm almost sold on the Tacops, but I have not been able to test one. ALL the ranges around me (Nashville, TN) say they do not rent the Tacops out due to the terms of contract with you guys.
This is exactly the type of carry gun I wanted. I was ecstatic when sig released the 1st macro but wasn’t a fan of the compensates slided. I wanted a longer barrel for more accuracy and the slide wasn’t esthetically pleasing to me either. 1 thing I’m curious about though is why call this version the Tacops over XL Macro

This is pretty much a re-release of the X-macro as it should have been. The ported slide has no effect compensating for anything and most people didn't like the super short barrel. They realized it and came up with this. Great.
not to mention with the comp, in a true self defense situation, you would get gassed in the face.
That's why I bought a Hellcat Pro in FDE instead of the 3.1" barrelled Macro. Don't need a compensator for 9mm.
All well and good but still waiting on a optics ready standard P365... Don't need nor want another variation of a variation. Please just give us an OR P365.
SIG needs to just go ahead and release 30rd mag for the P365. It shouldn't print any worse than the 17rd already does.
I just bought a x macro, only came with 2 mags no extended levers, no mag well! So if macro means more why didnt I get any of that with my x macro? Why did I have to pay $59.99 for each additional magazine? And why when I call sig asking if I could at least buy a mag well after spending $899 on my gun and another $120 for 2 more mags I get told “nope but maybe someday you can, you could just trade yours for a tacops” Don’t get me wrong I love my p365 xmacro but I’m extremely frustrated this was my first sig purchase and I already felt like the price was high but then when I see this come out a few days after my first sig purchase its very discouraging why wouldn’t 4 mags be standard with the x macro and why can’t I even be offered the mag well its a lot of money and now I feel slightly ripped of.
Face the facts my friend. Sig screwed us early adopters. Now they're selling a better version for at most $100 cheaper.

The new tac-ops is simply a P365 XL slide and an x macro grip module. The only thing new about this is the new slide release. Basically waited 5 months for a new slide release. The original preview of this model came with suppressor height sights and 3 mags. I guess they decided to skimp on the $100 sights and give 1 extra $60 mag Instead. I bet it's still about $800 for the gun though. I love sig guns, I have an X Macro and an X5 legion. Both are outstanding performance. I'm not hating on sig but if a company tries to pull a fast one on customers, it needs to be called out. If you have a P365 XL already, go buy the x Macro grip module ($100+) and (4) 17rd mags($240). You'll basically have this "new" gun for less than half the price tag. The only thing the new slide release will do is increase the width of that part of the frame and make it less comfortable to conceal.

I’ve seen some durability issues with the macro finish easily coming off. Has this been improved?
I have one right in front of me. Every single X-Macro and their magazines has this issue. The finish is so bad, it comes off immediately when holstering it in and out of a Kydex Holster.
Feedback: Have a light color background when presenting black guns. The gun would be better seen if Phil would have a light color shirt.

U can add the manual safety easily, a $50 add on. Will have to make the cut for it on the polymer grip.
I have considered this for myself. However my wife has little faith in me. She'd prefer Sig come out with one. Could pay gunsmith though to do the work. Maybe she'd go for that.
@@The_Phantom_Writer It is literally ready for the safety, all you have to do is put it in. you could do it just as easy & it would be as good as a gunsmith could do. I did one the other day. Then a couple minutes with a utility knife to cut the notches in the grip module & it is as good as factory installed.
Are we to assume the Tacops model will still fit kydex holsters molded for the standard X-Macro? Wasn’t sure if the different slide release would be a factor…
They said at shot show it is compatible with standard x macro holsters even with the extended slide release and different slide.

If you look closely the mag loader is on the ground with the empty mags. You will need it to get 17 in the “macro” mags. 0:32

Full size 5” ,lightened slide,optic cut,mag well version in 30 super carry with a 25 round flush fit mag. Now that’s a winner for sure. 9mm too please.

I love the 365 and 320 but this minus the magwell shouldve been the original release.
Also, can yall start making kits minus the FCU for things like this? I have like $2,000 worth of FCUs with no homes cause you keep making new guns and no kits. I already have all the caliber conversions you make. FCU owners need more OEM support.
I will say this the Wilson Combat Grip Module is a Perfect Crip for any of the 320 models to the 365 models. They don’t offer the Macro Grip Module because the Macro 17 Round capacity. I own several 365 Models also a few 320 along with the P238 Equinox, Constitution, Copper Head, I quit buying those 380 models because Sig Initially was only going to manufacture 6 models of the PT230 but they kept building them making them less desirable, that I believe is Sigs Problem that they just keep making subtle Changes to their Models until people just get tired of buying the basic same Pistol all over. Now with that being said I personally don’t believe there is another Manufacturer out there that can even come close to Sig Sauer Firearms.
