Enjoyed this one greatly! Wonderful, wish I was near Tim Fullers nursery!
Vinca diffiformis subspecies Sardoa, wonderful plant, did not know what I had was this! Got it originally from near the car park Portmeirion Gardens where there are sheets of it. Seems fully hardy in Wales and here in Mayo, Ireland. Thanks for this.
Rosie Steele talked often about the white berried holly and David Bromley thought he had a plant in his hedge, but we could never find it.
You should do an episode with Tim or Joe Sharman about mythical plants like these. The yellow berried form of Ruscus aculeatus commes to mind also a red berried mistletoe.(Has anyone actually seen Loranthus europaeus that grows on oak, in the UK,) I can think of many others! I love the thrill of finding these bygone or mythical plants.
