Another marvellous episode! I have to say that after having a north facing garden that I don’t think I’d like anything but, the array of shade lovely plants is absolutely magnificent. ❤

I heard the "black and white photos" tip years ago for garden design. It's advised for checking the shapes, structure and form of a garden, taking out the colour, so you are not distracted. Designers say that if a garden border works in black and white, it will work in colour.

Well I think I've found my people too - from those who are obsessed with instagram to those who furtle around in pots when given a gift to those who sold me Farfugium japonicum Aureomaculatum not all that long ago! I also seem to have a 12 year olds mind as I had to have Farfugium japonicum 'Wavy `Gravy' just for the name! Will look out for the F.j.variegatum too. I have never been so disappointed to get to the end of an episode, I hope there is a part two!

It was good to see Steve on the Beeb at Chelsea. A sure fire way of getting Long Covid is to go back to work right away. It makes no sense. Awful to call your wife a "sidekick"
