- It is February and the garden is slowly waking up. The days are getting longer and flowers start to appear, mostly hellebores, my favorite winter flower. I have been shopping at the garden center and will add spring color on my sidetable with primroses and violas. I will also show you what is growing in the vegetable garden.
ABOUT ME
My name is Linda, I am a wildlife photographer with a passion for gardening.
I have been gardening since early childhood. I have a small 90m2 garden in the Netherlands, but it is my dream to own a big piece of land with a cottage garden, a large vedgetable garden, orchard, wildflower meadow & forest for wildlife.

Hi Linda, with my hellebores I always remove all the leaf growth, as soon as I see the flower buds forming. Also, if you see any brown leaves before this remove them, from the base, immediately. This helps prevent mould and invigorates them to put more energy into the flowers. I also mulch them, with compost, in the autumn. Hope this helps, lovely video.

Как у вас красиво!!! Морозники гибридные размножаются семенами?? Если да, то как они цветут. А ваша композиция прям совсем в моём вкусе, получилось очень нежно. У меня сейчас на столе тоже композиция из морозника, осоки, подснежников и каменной розы( молодило). Мне понравилась ваша идея с одинаковыми вазонами, в которые вы не пересаживаете, а просто туда помещаете нужное вам растение, без пересадки. Возьму эту идею себе. Спасибо. И, конечно же, подписалась.

Thanks James 😊 Yes, it's slowly coming to life. I think you mean the daffodils thar are in the terracotta pots where the agapanthus were in summer, so that's confusing. The agapanthus are still overwintering in the garage.
