Love this page and story!! Here’s a good tip that helps when punching cards that are almost the same size as your punch 😉 i use a little post-it to hold while you guide it through! Works really well.
Tip for punching something that is small and has no place to hold. Stick a post it note on the back side edge of paper to be punched and use as a handle. Then you can use the handle/post it to help position the paper in the punch. Love all your creativeness.
I love your idea of putting your journaling card back onto the sheet paper to cut out the circle. So much easier than trying to fiddle with the tiny card inside the punch to stay centred. Sharing ideas for the win! ♥️🎄🎄🎄🎄
This is wonderful! I think you could actually use a piece of thin ribbon to make the hinged flap if you need to ever replace it. Won't tear especially if you use about 1/2" wide grosgrain.
Great page, Ali. Just a suggestion, the flip up part could have been made from a ribbon or perhaps from a piece of thin vinyl, which would give you more flexibility, yet be sturdy.
A piece of Tyvek would be great as a hinge. clever design.

Great tip! Thank you!
What a great idea
That’s another great idea. Thank you. 😊

I was thinking the same thing
Hadn’t thought of that, thank you! 💖
Oh yes - love that tip too! Thank you!
Great idea! I was going to suggest a piece of tyvek cut out of an envelope but this idea is prettier!

Yes! Thanks Barbara. I think I might add some ribbon.
Came out beautiful ❤
You need to use a piece of acetate or page protector to be your circle hinge.
like the acetate idea. Or canvas or kraftex
Maybe replace the paper hinge with a piece of acrylic…it would be stronger and clear so you wouldn’t see it from other side
Thanks for that tip! I might try that to stabilize it a big more.
@@AliEdwardsDesignInc was also thinking you could use a WR Memory Keepers tab. It would fold better
@@AliEdwardsDesignInc A thicker vellum would also work, just a little more sturdy than paper, but not bulky in any way.
I don't have 4" circle punch but I do have circle dies and.....to make white background - use rolling white out tape - planner hack
Hi Teresa - I'd love to see an example of what you are talking about. Do you have a link to an example?
