I suggest you pull up the journaling and place right down on the acetate so you can tape the green paper on the back side, then you wouldn't see the adhesive...hope that makes sense
Thank you for the reminder to go at our own pace. I want so badly to get to work on the project but we unexpectedly ended up in the children’s hospital all week. Now we are so busy it’s just not going to happen! Thank you for the reminder to take a deep breath. I know I will get to it eventually!
Ali, I needed you to give me permission to take it down five notches. haha!! I am having the loveliest month, enjoying myself daily doing holiday activities but I also have work to do and a house to keep clean and hanging over my head is my commitment to finally get my DD done this year! I've decided to put it *mostly* off until the week after Christmas. I can't wait to see what you do tomorrow because one of my stumbling blocks this year is that I cut out a huge Santa face for my opening page, put it on a transparency and then I couldn't figure out what to do on the back! You can see the Scor tape. One idea is to do a collage of Christmas die cuts on the back and trim around the edge (on a second Santa face). I need ideas for what to do on the back of something you put on a transparency! Thanks for the inspiration - loved this one!
Thank you for the sweet reminder that we are to go at our pace and dig into the story get the pictures the rest can happen when time allows. Cute project thank you
I used to be hard on myself with keeping up. This year I’ve decided to do it in January when I have all the photos and journaling done and enjoy the process
I love this project and what you are doing with your days. The issue of ‘letting go’ is a good one, except that if I’m not doing it in real time, i miss out on the community of DD. The fun of the project is seeing what others do and sharing what you do during this season. This December turned out to look a lot different than I planned and hoped. This project is generally such a joy to me. Perhaps focusing on something not to do with my life would be an idea for a day. It’s not a matter that I’m too busy, it’s a matter that due to unforeseen circumstances, the stories that would normally be there and relatively easy to tell, aren’t there. I’m not feeling sorry for myself; but I would like to know if others are having this issue. Thank you.
@@AliEdwardsDesignInc thank you for seeing this in a Storytelling light. It is never a good time of year for me (and I know others struggle as well); but perhaps documenting it will help what is going on make sense. Your insight is appreciated. I did manage to do 1 Dec tonight and post it) and that felt like a start. Best wishes, Christine

Thanks for sharing Ali. Always sharing great inspiration. Are the alpha stamps still available?
