Subscribed. At first i thought just another big shot that prob only works on fancier cars, but when you started going around the car and talking about the specifics, i knew he was a foxbody guy. Then then had the pics and stories to back it up. Cant wait to watch the rest of this resto.
The cracked paint is from using a piece of 1" rigid conduit or similar to roll the fender, for tire clearance, instead of using a roller and doing it the right way
Hi Nick. Correct. The previous owner use to race the vehicle and that is why he converted over to a 5-lug drum brake set-up in the rear. To fit a bigger tire back there.
Hello! We are not painting the jams on the vehicle because we are not doing a color change. All vin tags on the body panels are located in the jams. Therefore, they will not be removed to retain its originality.
You looking for another one? I got an all original Teal sunroof one. It's all there runs and drives. Underside is clean motor is clean paint is bad interior is bad. Looking to sell it. Let me know.
I'm sorry to say that that is likely NOT a 1993 Cobra. Besides the interior being incorrect like others have stated...no 1993 Cobra rolled off the assembly line with rear drum brakes. The brake booster/master cylinder combo is another dead give away. So unless someone swapped all of the Cobra specific brake parts out and replaced them with O.E.M. GT/LX 5.0 brake parts (not very likely), then this is not a 1993 Cobra. I am hoping that you continue with the build though! If you have an actual Cobra VIN (even if it's not from this car originally), you might as well make this into a Cobra.
Just subscribed. What a great review on the cobra. Really elaborate and detailed video. Looking forward to the Cobra restoration. I'm in the middle of restoring my 91 GT 5.0. Keep up the good work.
So a Cobra had 10 more hp than the regular GT. How much more did those 10hp cost you. 10,000. For less than 500 you could of changed the rear end gears and blow that car away.
Happy to find your channel and follow your build. Black on black ‘93 Cobra owner with long history with Fox body mustangs as well.
That thing is awesome I have a 93 lx 🚗🦊🐎💯🇺🇲💪
Definitely my dream car even though I have a 2013 5.0. I’d trade it for a clean 93 cobra in a second 🏎🦊
wow the level of detail on this video rivals a TV show! reminds me of overhaulin or something amazing!!
Much appreciated Brody!
Appreciate the video!
Thanks!

I appreciate that. Thank you!
4:19 ... ahhh, looks like someone use to have a Vortech on the car. You can see they widened the hole in the fender for a powerpipe.

Sal-lean.
Not say leen
Neat collection man!
Looking forward to seeing this all shined up
Thank you! Stay tuned.
Can't wait to see the journey your taking
Thank you!
My dream car. I’ll be locked in on this all the way.
Thanks Mike!
those Cobra R wheels are from the 1995 Cobra R, and they're still 17 inches. 17x9 if they're the origonal size
I think he called them replicas... I believe you can get those in 18in also.
Very serious walkthrough Shant. Looking forward to seeing more stuff on the channel!
Thank you Viktor! There will be a lot more content coming soon.
Fantastic sir! I too have had many foxes
Love to hear that. Thank you.
Bummer when they switched to 5 lugs, they put on rear drums. ☹
Originally came with 4 wheel disc.

Great video! My first mustang was a 1985 GT. New Subscriber here 👍
Is this car for sale or it’s your collection
Hi Julio! No, this vehicle will stay in my collection.
@@cmsmotorsports7616 lucky you man. It’s a beauty 👌 around how much will a 93 cobra with only 8,599 miles and perfect condition will cost ?
Plan to tape off the vin stickers on all panels if you spray?
@@johndoe-zb8bm why would he when you can buy new reproduction stickers

Looks like when they switched to 5 lug the turned the rear to drum brakes
Prop rod is gone
What was the cost of this project
Fyi they didn't offer black leather seats in the Cobra. Also your color number totals are off.

93 Cobras never came with black leather. Wasn't an option. You could get black, just in cloth. The only leather option was Opal Gray
How could anyone let that happen to a 93 cobra 🤦
Hi there! Sometimes people lose interest and that's why we are here to save these rare vehicles.
@@cmsmotorsports7616 God that would be awesome 😎 good job

I believe it has the rare flat side intake as well
This car, in the current estimated theory, should have, but doesn't seem to. Could have been swapped at some point.

That car is complete , that's not a restoration.
