I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your content in 2023. I have felt some of your difficulties managing the channel without Justin and the shift in content from Bustravel to Renovation and Lifestyle, but you have always managed to find interesting topics and present them in a creative way. The perspective of a woman in her 30s is very interesting to me. I can relate to some of your struggles and really like your authentic presentation.
thank you for your support. It's definitely been a transition but I feel like this year I am really stepping into the separation of so much "family" content to harnessing it as my channel and sharing little snippets here and there. Feels good.

Its very interesting to know bits and pieces of your heritage. The most important thing is to remember in our times of sadness or feeling weak. Is that our ancestors fought for us to be here and we should feel their hand on our shoulders lifting us up when we're sad, anxious, or upset. To know that they would be proud of us if they knew we were working hard towards something we are passionate about.
I get emotional at times thinking about all the circumstances that may have happened in the past for me to be here. Its a blessing to live this life. It truly is.

I have lived in Spain for the past 7 years and I have to say that the way of life here is really relaxing, creative and uplifting. Strangers are so nice to you on the whole and it is just a much happier way of life here. I don't like siestas either, but whilst everyone is asleep it gives me time to do some self-reflection and self-care. It would be amazing if you guys could move here. It is a wonderful place to be. (also the housing market is suuuper cheep at the moment!)
we've looked a little bit...might live there for a few months some time in the future to explore life there

Did a heritage test and came back English and Scandinavian but the surprising one was 11 % north African , who knew not me that's for shore ... So yeah get Justin to do his as it's fascinating to find ones roots . Lovely to see Mr Odin peacefully snoozing in the background 😊 🙏

I love when the results are unexpected. It's cool to see how the things you were already interested in have a connection to your ancestry even though you didn't know some of the places your family came from.
11:14 OMG, yes!!!! I totally was feeling connections to specific cultures and found out that I'm actually part of those cultures following my DNA test. My maternal grandfather tried to hide our heritage but it all came out in the DNA results.

It's always cool to know where you are from. My family are really kind of scattered. Native American, German, English (bristol area), Irish, Italian. My family has a book that we have kept with birth and death dates and even a few pictures.
I was always drawn to scottish and Irish culture before I knew and did ancestry DNA , and when I did it those were my prominent ancestry !! I think subconsciously we do know 😊
This was also a step that I've made when I was / still am searching my roots. It is an experience truely it is.
Got to Spain, its amazing! I wasnt expecting to like it because my grandparents are from Mexico and theres so much baggage from colonization, but the way of life was an eye opening experience for me. I traveled to 12 or so countries throughout eastern and westeenr europe about 9 years ago on a year long trop, and Spain was my favorite. I think you guys would especially love Barcelona and Granada, granada has a lot of people with hippyish vibes and you remind me a lot of them.
Im not sure if you got it but those people it shows that you can contact are your relatives! Its people that have m done the dna test and some part of it matches your dna. usually lots of distant cousins but there can be fun surprises in there!
You should 100 percent learn Spanish and Arabic! The culture looks so pretty on you. I’ve been watching for years. Super happy for you.

I know the feeling. I’ve always been infatuated with everything England, the movies, documentaries, books, style, etc. I recently had DNA and found out I’m 59% England heritage. It’s crazy!

Hi Juby ✨ xox So European jewish lineage mum and muslim heritage from dad.... Iberia in history was the place where all the jews and Muslim/Moors were, so its interesting, to see this and it borders to France. There are other sites where you can find out by your DNA which Tribes you are associated with in history. My guess is that Justin also has lots of Spanish DNA and thats why you were drawn together. Thank you for sharing your story, and also life as a pisces is very much as you describe your life.... we are just fish out of water, swimming in the air....it's a bit weird and wonderful.. but as we know, the wheel keeps moving and we keep changing, so all will be changed again soon. Love your content and your family skiing trip, was so beautiful, it is lovely you will have all these wonderful memories forever on video, so you will never forget all the love...✨✨✨✨✨✨

You have to do 2 to 3 different DNA tests to get some clarity.
The Massai ( supposedly 1%) matched more interests from you than the Iberian ( more than 21 %) peninsula's culture and languages, so in life, just go with your flow, dna is not determinating a lot in your case.
Your beautiful French will make learning spanish and portuguese much easier.
Spanish is easy yto learn, portuguese is a rough challenge. Time for a trip to Guatemala & Bresil ;-))))
Hi Juby! I'm from Spain and I agree with you in the siesta thing, but it is necessary in summer, when it is super hot outside. For me, you really look like someone from Spain, Italy, Greece (Southern European for sure) and the North African part also makes sense. I would love to do a DNA test myself :)

My dad did the DNA thing after doing the old fashion census in different countries for the family and yeah, same thing, Iberian. Spain, Portugal, Italy and North African. Must be something to do with the Moors in Spain.

we have also done our DNA, our son bought them for us a couple of years ago and it wasn;t a real big surprise, except I had some Scandanavian, my oldest son LOVED this, he said he has always felt like a Viking!, and my husband had some Congo.....begin genealogy research on your family.... that is always enlightening. my husband could on;y trace his paternal line back 3 generations, then it just disappears, so we are almost certain he was either a rum runner or a bank robber and wanted to drop off the map so changed his name... I have traced my family roots back to the 1700's Scotland. I even have an ancestral castle there, though it is now owned by the Scotland land trust now

yes - parents were divorced and I moved with my mom to the UK from age 3-18 and went to an all girls boarding school

I mean, with a neighbooring hispanic and quecha and portuguese and so many more languages filled continent, a huge latino population why is spanish not compulsary at schools? Would be an eyeopener for many.

Apart from your brand, at least in my estimation, aligning with boomfestival/beingathering, which would be a nice business opportunity and a way to connect with people from all over the world, there's still so much land that needs to be taken care of by more conscious people like you. I don't know how profitable beekeeping is here but Portugal is so hip right now and has so much foreign business... I think it's worth a visit.

You can never be 100% sure where your ancestors are from. You might be surprisesd if you go further back than just your great grandparents🤷♀️ Not everybody knows their great grandparents and don't have family stories to share. My granddad on my fathers side never wanted to talk about his childhood or his side of the family and neither did my dad when he was alive so i know nothing about that side at all. So for me it would be interesting to see if i'm pure Danish or if there is something else🙂
