- I love creating long-form video content here on UA-cam. But what started my career was my love for short-form content. In this video, I take a trip down memory lane and react to some of my most viral videos and share some insights and behind-the-scenes stories. And yes, I’m was slightly cringed out while watching these :D

It makes her very relatable - an everyday woman, so to speak. She’s comfortable with who she is and doesn’t present herself/her life as perfect. Such a refreshing change from others! 💜

One thing ive noticed about this channel and im certainly happy about it is that it has the nicest most positive and caring comments section/community compared to the norm. I've never seen s troll or anyone say anything bad avout uyen and its so wonderful and wholesome that people treat her with such kindness and respect.
Somehow she achived this while reaching 2 million subs, truly impressive. But I do notice Uyen doesn't make videos to response to hateful comments, instead just hightlight the possitivity and memes.
I think it's because she's so genuine, and honest

Esp in the last fragment when you are both singing the background music, it is very clear how much fun you are having with the singing!
IMHO you have great instincts for comedy. Some of my favorites are your saucy interactions with GB (now GH) both actual and portrayals. You find a way to be funny without being derogatory with him, and that is a wonderful talent. You are clearly a loving couple and it comes through every time. I hope you never show his face - it has become a standing joke that is delightful.

ETA: I love all your content, the German/European culture struggles, the couple stories and last but not least your Vietnam content. But most of all, it's just the little everyday things that are universal that you catch so creatively and relatable.

The Aldi cashier - LOL! And struggling with the window - yes! The first time I was in Austria, I managed to drop an entire patio door on the floor because I turned the handle the wrong way and released the hinges. I remember the 'use the right beer glass' video. One of my favorites.
What, i never knew you can do that by turning the handle the wrong way. Excuse me now, i have to go and try that with all my doors in my german apartement.
@@olgahein4384 works at least with certain older models. you can open 3 corners at once, the bottom one stays fixed. i think its if you open it one way and then switch to the other one without closing it properly first.
@@olgahein4384 This was in 1983. I don't know if it's the same, now. I was enthralled that I could open the windows a bit on top, or open all the way, sideways. I sure was not expecting to remove them altogether!

You are proof that it's completely possible to make great content without "staging" your life, being controversial (morally), create drama or use sexual undertones or use sexuality as a "talent". Her voice and way of speaking is very therapeutic. Calm and cool.
I liked learning that often it starts with the song and then the video, instead of the other way 'round as that explains why the music is always such a great fit with the video.
I’m an immigrant in Germany as well so I appreciate the little differences you point out in the culture but what I appreciate most of all is how much your videos make me laugh! You have an excellent ability to deliver humour with respect and self-depreciation (German Fiancé is very funny as well) and I love that you aren’t selling anything, you are just you being you.

I love that you are proud of yourself and looking back on these videos positively. Most UA-camrs make videos about how "cringe" their first videos are and this is a refreshing spin. It's nice to see someone acknowledging their growth without putting themselves down.

As an American who moved to Vienna a year ago I relate so much to your videos XD. I think this is proof more than anything that Austrians over exaggerate their differences from Germans when the culture shocks are exactly the same 😅

As an Austrian who has worked both with Austrian companies and German employers, I can tell you one difference I noticed: Germans are very private in the work sphere and like to keep things professional. In Austrian companies you gossip like crazy, chances are you go for drinks with your boss and colleagues and by Xmas you know who is bringing their wife or mistress to the office party!! 😂😂💯facts
The Aldi I go to in America just throws it into the cart and there's a bench you go off to bag your own stuff. I love Aldi.

The one supermarket I go to here in Canada where you pack your own groceries has 2 places for groceries to go when they've been scanned, so they alternate. I pack my groceries while the next person's stuff is being scanned. By the time they get to the third person, I'm done and they switch back to my space, which is empty. You still need to be quick packing but not super speedy.

And I can see how you’ve blossomed and I’m happy that you’ve had the opportunity to be in a country that allows you to be you. And that’s not to knock Vietnam. I made a student exchange thing in Germany (I'm from the basque country) and omg the square pillow video got me! It's just impossible to sleep in those for me😂
I moved to Germany 22years ago and still hate them, sometimes I even put my head underneath the pillow cause it’s more comfy than to sleep on it 😂
Just fold it, and everything is fine. Many people dislike it, but all the linen is made in this size since 'centuries'.
