I really hope that by the end of the Absolute comics' runs, Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman form an Absolute Justice League to try and make their world a better place.
Given that 'Absolute Flash' , 'Absolute Green Lantern' and 'Absolute Martian Manhunter' are all confirmed, an 'Absolute Justice League' feels inevitable.
I'm so glad with this comics, while technically having a darker feel (courtesy of Darkseid), it doesn't feel like edgy nonsense. It's very interesting to see the characters in a new light and with a new origin, but their core seems to be intact. Which may be a pretty good metaphor, no matter how hard people like Darkside try, there will always be heroes willing to help those in need.
Something I really like about Absolute Superman so far is how they're embracing an aspect of Superman from the Golden Age comics, where he was a champion to the oppressed, someone who used to beat down abusive corrupt bosses and domestic abusers. This Superman going up against the Lazurus Corporation and the Peacemaker soldiers to protect the wellbeing of these lower-class Brazilian miners is really in character for Superman going back to the routes of the character, even if he's more realistically brutal in this incarnation. It's also refreshingly nice to see Superman and Batman grow up with their birth parents (even though Absolute Batman lost his father, his mother is still alive and well). BTW the reveal of Lois Lane as a soldier for Lazuruz had my jaw drop and caught me off guard, so Im excited how they will develop her in the series and explore her dynamic with this Superman, whether they end up as lovers or not? Not to mention, Im excited to see this new take on Brainiac, who seems more grounded and less of an alien conquerer and seems more like a human infected with some techno virus, making him into Brainiac (possibly Lex Luthor?)
I think it would be interesting, and quite dark, if Rahs in this world died long long ago, but that his successors misused his legacy to create Lazarus Corp. A bit of an "out there" idea, but it'd be neat.
I love this version of Superman if you think about thay have combined the el family and the Kent family with this version of his parents! Also I love this Lois Lane and I can't wait to see what lex luthor is like in this universe!
@@MarvelKnight-tw9hb I think it would be interesting to do a kid Lex Luthor. A prodigy who has the ability to use his intellect to make the world a better place, but is tempted by powerful people to use his mind for the wrong reasons.
What I'm more surprised with is how much I love the logo because usually whenever they make an alternate Superman, they tend to make the logo much more jagged and distantly different than an actual S, but I really love how it looks. I don't love whenever they make it two different like the Kingdom Come. Honestly my least favourite symbol might be the Batman Beyond one, because I always thought as a kid that it barely looked like an S.
This version of Superman represents the immigrant ideal far better than the mainline one ever did. You can already tell that Abs will have to fight for acceptance and a place in this world, while regular Superman was practically handed it on a silver platter.
He was not handed everything, but he does have it easier than other immigrants introduced in comics. Superman is a conventional white man, and he was never found out to be an alien. Only in certain comics, and it's when he's superman. He grew up in America and had no obstacles, at least externally , living in America. Superman, especially since he's an American icon, struggles with showing the immigrant experience nowadays. He still represents it, second generation. But this time, he is a first generation immigrant. @tayojones9460

Again, *I sympathize with him, considering [REDACTED].* 4:04: But since the original suits get damaged lots, where'd they get more material away from the ship? Interesting, having this Superman wear a sun-powered exosuit... will there be a Luna, perchance? 4:38: Surprisingly, this works better than the New 52 take, since there's no red cape, the suit is black, and again, it's an exosuit named Sol. There's a chance Lois Lane is working undercover once more. Superman having to be a baby and landing to the Kents brings into mind the Old Jedi Order's way to get new recruits.
Would be cool that if we get a "Moon Suit" for it to be called Lua not Luna Sol is also how we call sun in Portuguese Brazilian, and calling the moon one Lua would fit with the language

Honestly, I would love to see Vandal Savage be the main villain. Heck, I would honestly be interested in seeing a combo between him and Lex Luthor. Imagine it, an immortal conqueror with a god complex who has spent countless millennia influencing the course of human civilization in an attempt to assert dominance, in modern day presenting himself as a genius and successful businesman leading the Lazarus Corporation as a means of continuing his conquest into the modern day. Heck, you could even tie it all into the environmental message by having Savage desire to construct a Utopia, one where all of his chosen people could happily live and serve him, not caring about what he has to do to achieve or from who he hurts or how he's destroying a planet. In a way, he would be replicating the mistakes of Krypton, creating a sort-of paradise where the privileged prosper while everyone else and the very planet this paradise is built on suffers.
