From the south to the north in Fakarava is 25 miles and bommies potentially everywhere. They go from 20 meters to 0 within meters. Please don’t watch Netflix with your forward scan on at 5 knots
It's not on Netflix, but on a sailing channel like you. Not effective on the high seas, but very effective at low speed in dangerous areas where there are a lot of "coral potatoes" such as in the Bahamas or in approaches to anchorage. I don't subscribe to Netflix, just Amazon Prime (LOL).

Yes, the Forward Scan is effective up to 5 knots. But in dangerous areas very practical if you go slowly.
