I have the v6 xse and love love love it. Fast, sporty, and handles likes a dream. And for its size, one of the easiest cars I’ve driven. Easy to park, turn, and make those tight squeezes
In the current era of more-show-than-go cars, it's really nice to shock unsuspecting 'idiots' who thinks only they can vroom-vroom everywhere... But sadly, where I'm from in Asia, we won't get neither the V6 nor the hybrid (though these can be ordered through special order or parallel-import and expect a ridiculous bump-up price), and we have ours with a 2.0L naturally-aspirated as the base, followed by the 2.5L naturally-aspirated...
Got a 2009 XLE V 6 with all options, love it. Got 154K on it purrs as a new one. Performance is excellent, I lean it hard and push it to the limit and it keeps on going. Next Camry is 2020 XSE.
Accord and camry are supposed to be low maintenance cars. Not sure why accord complicated things with the turbo. Will probably get the camry v6 again. One of the best engines out there.
Actually, resale can be a bit low, due to over production of certain models. And, beware of dealer rip offs at service time. Find an independent reputable service shop and savings will be much better. Changing oil and filter at 7500 rather than 10k is a good idea if stop and go driving is often, imho. Buying oil and filter at wally world and taking it to a quick change shop can be a plus, too. However, do not let them sell you "packages'...another rip off. I am glad that Toyota finally is putting better driving dynamics into certain models. The Sienna SE and 4th gen. prius come to mind, as better driving cars. Thanks. PS...the Rav 4 is an example of poor handling, as compared to competitors.
Earlier today I lost an Alfa sale to a Toyota Camry. This bothered me. So I looked it up. Huh. Okay, I can see that. Not so mad anymore. I can see why someone might pick that over an Alfa. It's still completely average and uninteresting, and a nice comfortable choice for someone with no taste, courage, or sense of style, or the desire to be even remotely interesting.

The only thing I hate about the v6 is it's slow in 1st gear but takes off once in second.

Civic. I rented the Camry SE and it was miserable.. numb steering, cheap interior. I drove it right back to budget

I feel safer driving a bigger car and hence I pick the Camry.
