Is a flying broomstick ride long overdue for the parks? Or do you think we don't need another Wizarding World land in Orlando?
Imagine applying this tech to a real time quidditch match between two teams of guests. That would be kind of incredible.
This is such an awesome concept for a ride! That being said, I don’t think the Fantastic Beasts franchise is popular enough... and I don’t think the London Ministry should be in Epic Universe. They should do a British Ministry attraction at Universal Studios in place of the empty Fear Factor stadium (that way it would fit consistently with the rest of “London”). I think it would be awesome to use this ride technology at Epic Universe, but it should be for a ride based on the Quidditch World Cup where guests could play Quidditch. There could be shows and “team merchandise” shops outside the stadium as well, to expand the area. And if they wanted to add more, they could add the Burrow there as well. That would draw in two popular things from Harry Potter that haven’t been utilized yet.
As a HUGE fan, I feel that How to Train Your Dragon would work well with a Flight of Passage-type attraction, and now I want that so bad!
I feel vr is more for a roadside attraction than a theme park experience.

I was hoping for a dark ride. The hagrid ride was so cool with the dark ride elements
I really wish they change the line for the forbidden forest ride and add the grand hall. I can’t believe we don’t get to see it in person.
This seems interesting, but not sure how awesome it would be in execution. Plus, we already have a flying broomstick attraction with Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Honestly, I would like to see a different concept. Something about this seems kind of cheap in my opinion (use of only screens and vr).
you know how they used to have a walk-through mickey and minnie house attraction at Disney? they should have a similar thing in epic universe where you can walk through the Burrow (The Weasley's House), The Shrieking shack, etc etc

I can't say that this idea excites me very much. VR stuff is fine as paid experiences in other types of entertainment complexes, but I can't see it working very efficiently within an actual park. It seems like a hassle, but if this comes to fruition, maybe I'll be proven wrong.

Amazing! Thanks for covering this. As soon as this park opened I always was wanting/waiting for a Quidditch ride. I agree with you though, it would be cool to do magic too. Maybe not if in this ride but in another one if they make more. It would be cool to have an interactive ride where guests can do magic.
