    NM born and raised. Just fyi alot of us with the exact same back round dont all come home from jail or rehab. Alot of us with the exact same back round come home from school, college, military. And we come home to take care of our babies and mamas. Would be really cool if you did an episode on that. NM baby! Here to make a change not follow the cycle!

      @@mrq1701 I don’t agree, I think it’s to show who these people really are, what they’re fighting and living for and why. At the end of the day we’re all still humans, we just need to try and understand each other

      @mrq1701 3 роки тому +2

      @@azamimido6972 You mean they are fighting to get out of a lifestyle they should have avoided in the first place?? The Original comment asks the video maker to document families that are not gangbangers or drug addicts. You think people that have stayed out of legal trouble, don't break the law, and go to work 40 hours (or more) per week are not worthy of their story being told? The truth is, probably not. Too boring. Too everyday normal life. There is an edge to the stories we see on this UA-cam channel. There is a reason he chooses to document the lives of people that live this particular lifestyle. I get it. I understand. Sensationalism sells. Violence sells. Crime sells. I don't know if these videos teach young people to avoid the pitfalls of the lifestyle that has been documented or if it makes them think it's cool, acceptable, and possibly desirable.

Izzy seems like he needs a positive parental figure/support in his life. I wish him the best now that he is back home. ♥️🏜️🌶️🇪🇸

    Rough start in life doesn’t mean that it defines you. You have plenty to offer this world. Find a job no matter what it is and build from that point on. Take care and be good to Nana, give her back in life what she gives you. You got this, don’t fall for other’s bullshit.

    Gotta love all the positive feedback in the comment section. A lot of people don’t see/understand the impact being a main thorough way (I 40& I 25) and a border state has on the economy, crime, opportunities, etc. Thank you for making this young mans story available to the public. How are we ever going to address challenges our young people face if we’re looking at them from a biased lense? This mans story represents every single one of us, these are not isolated events. We should be doing more and we can do more to break those obsolete cycles in our lives that are no longer serving but instead are hindering our purposes.

    His lifestyle and circumstance are the continuation of the cycle. I would guess his Mom and Dad were just as dysfunctional and even though his Nana is there for him, I bet his Mom and Dad grew up exposed to the same dysfunction from them.
    Good luck with everything hermano. BREAK THE CYCLE.

    That’s crazy how similar stories can be. How many of us went through the same thing with our moms and our gmas and our dads you know? Gma was the Rock. My mom stayed in the streets we would stay with her in her car sometimes when we could find her so she wasn’t alone. Feed her when we had too n all that. Dad wasn’t there. Sad how many of us lived the same life

When he was killed in a horrible car accident on Ole Coors & Central; he left me with a 3 yr ole son & a 18 mo. Daughter. My children have Navajo & Apache in them on their Dads side. MY Husband came from mui hardships But He still Worked. When he died at the young age of 22 he was making 20 bucks a hour. Trust me Turmoil was a part of his life from his Dads mean Alcoholic behavior but his Dad Choose the easy mean path in stead of protecting his familia. My father in law lost my husband from a accident then 8 months later his 18 yr ole brother was killed by a drunk driver. He still drank. Selfish To The End

      I think we sometimes carry our own personal bias with us without realizing it. It might simply be my own ignorance, but I simply saw someone saying how long he was there. Whereas (unless I am mistaken), it seems like you might have seen an attitude coming off him when he said how long he was in. Regardless, we all seem to see the world, and everyone in it, differently.
      ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

      @@CaesiusX So true, and anyone who doesn't think that four months is not a long time for a human being to be locked up in a cage has no conscience, and probably NEEDS to be locked up in a cage, I'm sorry but damn. Not saying that whatever he did to break the law was okay because that's another complex issue in and of itself but for a person who has never been incarcerated before, four HOURS is a long time. I remember the first time I went to jail, I was only in there for 3 days and it felt like a LIFETIME! lol!! Only a person with a criminal mind would say something like that because they're already institutionalized and have no conscience anyway so time and being locked up means nothing to them, that's why they're able to do the things that they do and commit crimes the way they do without feeling guilt or fear or being caught or anything because they have no conscience/empathy. Sociopaths/psychopaths/narcissists/anti social personality disorder it's all the same shit.

      @@jwillyb870 thanks for your reply. Your comment may have brought about a slight epiphany on my part. You got me thinking that the institutionalization (as I understand the term) may actually ends up reversing one's perceptions. What I'm about to say may not be much of a revelation to some people, but I hadn't considered this ─ Before institutionalization occurs *any* amount of time one spent in jail *is* too long, regardless of the sentence. However, once institutionalization has taken over, perhaps they start to see a longer sentence as something of a badge of honor to them and their peers. I imagine that pressure would add to the difficulty of breaking out of the cycle.

      @@CaesiusX Exactly!!! You nailed it my friend! Right on the head. You seem like a very intelligent person. That is something that I didnt even think about also. It's really a badge of honor especially with gangs etc like they pull time as part of their civic duty or something it's really stupid. That's exactly what "the man" wants too. What they don't realize or maybe they do realize is that they're just puppets in the game that the "slave masters" as I call them are playing and pulling the strings. The penitentiaries are the modern day plantations as I see it. The inmates are the tenants and the warden is the landlord, and they want you're business!! They make lots and lots of money in state revenue off of us every time we get arrested and go to court and have to pay fines, tickets, citations, etc etc. So they are just playing right in to the hands of the man and his system which is to "own" us and put us into the system and run you through the mill and once you're in the system you can't get out. It's like the matrix man!! Haha. A web that you get tangled up in and get a criminal record and then every time you commit another crime it gets worse and worse a downward spiral and the punishments are accumulative based upon your previous offenses and so on and so forth and on and on...
