I’ve got my adventure sync set up to count steps normally and through wheelchair mode because sometimes I have my phone resting on my kids stroller.
I turn it on while mowing the lawn
I attached my phone to a ceiling fan and it worked pretty well until the my mum turned the speed up and it went flying across the room so now I play on a I phone 8 with a cracked screen.

Fyi ZoeTwoDots has personally asked Niantic about the fast catch and they said it was a glitch but that its not against tos and they have no plans to remove it. To those in the comments.
I hope they don't remove it. 95% of the time I fast catch

They actually tried to patch it, and they made it ten times easier at least for Android users. But as you can see they quickly fix that...

Quick tip when fast catching:
If you are right handed, instead of pulling the pokeball, pull the berry with your left thumb and throw with your right hand then click run with your right hand. This way it will be easier to focus on the throw, be less awkward and be more accurate.
If you’re left handed pull the pokeball with your right thumb and throw with your left hand.

Very important: You can use the Berry button as well for the quick catch method. I use my left thumb on Berry and have plenty of room to Great curveball with my right thumb.
You can do the 1st glitch holding the berry button instead. Its easier

Another tip, at night just leave the game open in a room with crappy signal and it'll walk everywhere, "walked" 2km in a stormy night with metal shutters closed. But usually "walk" a few hundred m a night.

@@samanthaweber2195 Usually once a month event on either a certain Saturday or Sunday. It's for 3 hours and during that 3 hours, there's a certain Pokemon that spawn everywhere and it has a higher than normal chance for a shiny. Lures will also last 3 hours and there's usually a 3x stardust catch or XP, etc.

Go to your location settings, advanced settings and then turn off wifi and bluetooth scanning. Leave game open. Sometimes you get GPS error in game, but works like charm. You can easily get 50+ kilometers in a half of a day. Works best if you are in a place with a lower connection.

You don't need Wi-Fi you just have to close it out and when you open it you need Wi-Fi
I did it just like that but its still counting 0 steps and none of my eggs are budging to hatch ._. maybe it's just that the sync can catch up

I don't find shaking is the most efficient what you should do is take your sock of put your phone in your sock ( with adventure sync on of course ) and then shake the sock with it in it works trust me

@@HannyYT trick wasn't removed but it must register very similar movements of actual walking to count.
also make sure you dont have things like battery safer on (phone setting) as a lot of the time this disables the sensors that track motion whilst the phone is locked.
another thing to try is to open the fitness app and start a workout (walking) then shake the phone.

the fast catch works too if you stretch it all the way out to the left it's easier
Used fast catch for Torchic CD and got over 1000 candies and tons of dust this way.
When you have a game open it counter distance but when you have it closed it counts your steps
I didn't think the egg trick would work but I was amazed how it worked
or better idea put on adventure sync i taped my phone to a fan that rotates and leave it there... Hot summer day nice fan and eggs hatch faster :3
Here is 1 more well its pretty useless but when your egg is haching zoom whit your 2 fingers out and it should skip haching animation and u got that pokemon

@@ishansharma4656 the result of the catch is determined the moment ur ball hits the pokemon. Whether it runs breaks free or you catch it.
i've had plenty run on me doing this (i use it for every catch)
Harder ones i let the animation run out until the moment the 3rd wiggle happens and run to skip the very last part and the summary etc.
its a little quicker than repeating the encounter 7 times.

KT63 1967 make sure when your doing the sock method turn off your WiFi on your device so it thinks you walking
It still works jus get off the app turn your iPhone off and make sure you phone is not on battery saver mode then turn off your phone and shake for me the eggs hatched and were in my recents I didn’t get to see them hatch.
The hatching eggs glitch worked for me not only do you get to hatch eggs faster but you get Candy's faster and you get the distance walked faster to this is insane
Catch trick is really helpful when there's a lot Pokemon to catch like on community day
The shaking one does not work for me.... I was shaking my Phone for 10 minutes and it didnt EVEN count 100 meters. I have adventure sync on btw.... Help

Shaking trick doesn't work at all on the s10
EDIT: It does work, just don't open the app for at least 10 minutes - give it time to "digest the steps" and then it should work. I keep the screen locked and then when time's up I go on the app and voila.

I know this is an old video but you can do the same method by holding your thumb on the berry icon (useful for righties) method you show is useful for lefties
