Ive been doing this for years now. Aside from community day, the only shinies ive found are sableye doing the ghost event in 2017 and a poliwag a few weeks during the water festival.

Maybe. but it's like 2/100 for player A and 0/800 for player B (me). This is how a guy in the neighborhood finds 10-25 shiny a week and I find 0 in a week. (About the same playtime and check.) The RNG's distribution is broken. They know it since 2016 but willing not to fix it.

Nima T definitely not true. I spend $150 plus a month on Pokemon go and play an average of 3 hours per day. Im lucky if I encounter 1 shiny each month not including community days. I know one person who is mostly a free player and spends about 3 hours a week on Pokemon go. He is almost guaranteed to encounter at least 1 shiny per week. The game is broken.

Hey!. Some days I absolutely grind at a mall I go too. 5 gyms and about 5 poke stops I check in it. I play about 4-7 hours a day depending on if I wanna really go. I’ve grinded 1 1/2 days during this event- that means catch them all and have new spawns. I have 3 swings to show for it, Wailmer, Rattata & Carvanha. I average 1-2 shiny son my hunts. Sometimes I do get blanked. It’s just how hard you grind I guess idk. Anyways peace!
@@azn4114 I see the same thing with my kids who play less than me, same thing with friends and their kids as well. There's little to no doubt in my mind that semi-inactive/inactive players get rewarded for returning to the game.

The guy said that the odds are the same to everyone, and he even said that he talked to Niantic about it, and they even said that the odds are the same to everyone. If you do a community day, do not go into the woods, because you cannot connect to Pokemon Go there, which will result in getting nothing. I went in the woods when the Larvitar Community Day was happening, and I used an incense, but I got bad service there, so it resulted with getting nothing.

For two days, I got 2 different shiny pokemons. The first day I spent my money bought a Mew pants , I found a shiny Misdeavour pokemon.
The next day, i spent a few money to buy Mew shoes. After a few walk in the park, I found a shiny Natu. Overall. This theory is kinda true.

I would like to curiously point out that I re-downloaded pokemon go about a month ago since its release date years ago, and I hadn't ever spotted a shiny in pokemon go yet up to that point. Okay so I recently got back into it and bought some items each day of the water event.
And I did catch a super random (for a water event) Shiny Torchic.
That was my first, okay so a day or two later I get the shiny Carvana too. (Pretty peculiar) 🤔

On my experience, every single time I spend money on the game, I end up encounter at least one Shinny

When I first heard this, I eventually "tested" it out because I wanted to disprove it. I saw the zubat backpack, I wanted the zubat backpack, I got the zubat backpack, keeping in mind that this myth exists.
Sadly, (but not really) that month I encountered 15 non-comday shinies. One almost every other day, sometimes 2 a day if there were days in between, in raids, wild, full odds, etc. The ONLY time I've had that luck is when I got that damn backpack in the middle of November through the middle of December.

Also I’ve started two other accounts, and only happen to get a shiny within two weeks after I purchase raid passes, incubators, etc. maybe I’m crazy but it seems too convenient

Sometimes when I go a while without stumbling upon a shiny, I’ll end up getting 3 or 4 in the same day. As it stands I’ve about 32, including a Moltres, Manectric, Rapidash, Torterra, Toxicroak, Kangaskhan, and Eevee (Flower Crown).
Do you have to catch the Pokémon or can you just check if shiny and exit the Pokémon?

I got three shiny genesects and I only purchased poke coins so I could buy remote raid passes.
I think this theory applies to any item you buy to include the boxes. For the first time, I bought one of the 1480 coin boxes and caught 5 shinies (over a span of a few hours).

Rng can be manipulated in some games. Like if the random numbers are calculated using the time or coordinates as a seed, then technically there could be a pattern to the "randomness"

I got my first shiny pokemon 3 years into playing after I bought an item. Every time I buy an item, I find a shiny. I think this theory makes sense.

If you fight in lots of gyms, you get lots of pokecoins when your pokemon gets kicked out! With the whole situation rn though it’s kind of hard... I believe in you😊

i bought 2 fashion items and the adventure pack and got zero shinies and low IV pokemon :v
LOL, this trick does work!! I bought Meltan earrings and 5 minutes later I got shiny Heatran, then another 2 minutes and a shiny Seviper, then a couple more minutes and shiny Sableye, in half an hour another shiny Heatmor!! :)

Me and my wife play we play about same time same catch she caught 7 shiny in the same hour and I got 2 her account is constantly receiving shiny when I once in a blue moon get one or two is there a way to increase the shiny catch rate

This theory worked out Shiny Mewtwo when I caught one after I bought Mewtwo hat I tested it out
100% works. My girlfriend and I bought the full Mewtwo set aside from the hat, we bought genger beanie. We each got 3 shinies that day. Niantic lying to everybody, if you buy you'll have better luck.
