One of my favorite videos you’ve ever made!! Sadie starting to talk, Jordan literally going nuts over this, and kaylee expressing how you were reminded why you love Jordan at the end of all this. I just love your lil family so much!
Regarding multiple trips to town for parts: 40 years ago, I was in the same boat, and while I had a pretty decent little hardware store in the mountains that was 20 minutes away (40 round trip), the bigger stores were over an hour away. I started a plan where if I needed two, I bought four. Slowly over time I built my own hardware store. : P I am still amazed to dig into my boxes or tubs or bins today and pull out exactly what I need, and it has a price sticker of 49 cents that today would be $3.00. It's really an investment of sorts because you not only save money and time not having to run to town as much, but the prices! There is one catch. My shop today is 36' X 48' with three bays. It's pretty much full of my "plan" I started 40 years ago. : P
My dad's the same and has boxed tidbits from various hardware stores over the years! It always feels extra special when he fixes something for you with a part he bought in the 90s.
Same goes for prepping your food pantry! The food supply is being burned down for a reason! No one is coming to save you! Do your best to take care of you and your family! Great idea regarding your home shop! Congratulations!
Right, I came for the tiddies but had a feeling so I skipped through, nope no tiddies at all. At least make a video that actually is for the veiwer, I like ram pumps and tiddies, but now I feel gyped.
Sadie is one of the healthiest looking toddlers I've seen for a long time. So fun watching her over time. And... congrats on your water! Another thing to look forward to from your vids. I look forward to them each week and watch them immediately. I have to say...nomadic movement is my favorite you tube channel. All true!
❤❤I have watched many farmers set up a ram pump, but it is always still exciting to watch every time. I think it's the enthusiasm of the people who just recently discovered it.
Unbelievable! Crazy how you guys are completely off the grid in a different country! This channel has come a longggg way and I’m happy for you guys! ❤️
So glad to see this beneficial success feelkng on your faces, water is the most jmportant element after oxigen for all of us. George, bravo, congratulations, you are so smart and responsible father. Please George, shave all your beard and mostach completley and afterthat always shave every other day. Ok? You will have much cleaner and better look. TKe care
I can't believe how much Sadie have grown and how smart she is. She observes everything her parents are doing, by the time she's a teenager, she will be helping her parents. I love it.!!! Blessings to this beautiful Family 👪 🙏👐❤❤❤
I CAN imagine this feeling!!!! We have a creek similar to yours 500m away from our off grid home, we don't know if we can run a ram pump , but after this video you bet we are going to try!!! The flow is about the same as yours and we need to pump ours ~ 120' up and over a hill to get it to our cistern. I have been celebrating with you this whole video because it's working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been watching you grow for 6 years. Absolutely all the love, and congratulations!!!!!!
my mom grew up on a farmhouse that had a creek that ran underneath it. in the cellar, they used the water that ran underneath the house to produce electricity with a water mill. It was enough electricity to power their farmhouse, as well as to sell to the neighbors. water is cool man.
Well done!! Rainbows are God's messages. He is making his presence known by helping you along the way. That wee girl is the cutest 💞 Stay blessed my friends!
I have to tell you Jordan had me choked up just seeing the sunset…we take so much for granted…we need to learn to slow down and enjoy the simple, beautiful things!! Great job on the water source…I didn’t doubt ya..😊
As you two got what you wanted today we received what we wanted . First of all is you to achieve all your goals and my fiance' and I to be a part of your farm . We received the first edition of the Coffee shop shirts. They are amazing !!! Thank you Nomadic Movement. We Love you all.I told you we will be seeing you soon.We 🙏 ❤️
Ms. Sadie is TOO much. Rodrigo is adorable and funny, Jordan is the gorgeous genius, Mama is lovely and I want all the dogs. Thanks for sharing...so sweet.
A beautiful sight as life is created day by day with a lot of effort and strong desire, smile and love. May God protect you and all the Forest Angels~Greetings from Macedonia (europe)
Wow you are a super homesteader!!!! We called this project a “seepage well “when I was a child 60+ years ago ! But you made it a self delivering how good is that !
Good job with the Ram Pump, It should work. 1 foot of water = 0.433 PSI, so 40 PSI is 92 feet in elevation, so if the top of your storage tanks are below 92 feet in elevation from the Ram Pump, you will have flow. Make sure that you filter larger debris going in the Ram Pump so not to break the seals of the valves. Keep it up... Cheers from Canada
Yep - I was about to say the same thing when I saw your comment. At 26:15 Jordan says he thinks it only needs about 30 feet elevation, but from what we see in the shots they showed us I have to believe he is way off. So first they have said that Rodrigo's house is 9 meters tall (about 30 feet) and the bathroom area seems to be at about the height of the top of Rodrigo's house. They also showed what looked like going downhill from around Rodrigo's quite a bit so at least another 30 feet down to the river. Then they also took it downhill from there to the pump, no way for us to know how far, but probably only a few feet. Also the gauge wasn't showing fully 40 psi but more like 36 PSI which would get more like 83 feet elevation with no pressure left at that point, so realistically between 75 and 80 feet. My guess is they will be able to get the water easily up to the level of Rodrigo's house where they will need to build a holding tank and either setup another ram pump there or use an electric pump from there since Rodrigo will need electricity at his house anyhow. But this is all a guess since we cant see everything. All in all though an incredible feat. Congratulations Jordan!
@@BoomerTex They can make it work regardless by lowering the ram pump in relation of the water source to increase lift. Ram pump will have about 1:7 ratio of feet of head to lift, meaning that for every 1 foot that the ram pump is below the water source, it will raise the water 7 feet. Worse case, he will have to do some more digging... What I would do personally to find out what is required, would be to attach a laser pointer on a level and set it on top of their highest storage tank and use a measuring tape to measure the height at the ram pump location. After this is known, then you will know the vertical fall required for the ram pump by using the 1:7 ratio of feet of head to lift. He's a smart guy, he'll figure it out. Cheers
Sadie is sooooo adorable n smart yall are THE BEST parents !! Congratulations 🎊 on the Jordan canal as well, life changing I know with yalls determination there will be running water on Lola's Farm in no time 🏞🌊💧💧💧🌬💞💞
Brilliant! Great job on the ram pump and digging out that creek! Physics is amazing. To think someone thought that up so long ago.. when you look at some of the stuff they invented thousands of years ago things we haven't even got now, it's mind blowing! Well done guys! And Sadie is so funny and PROPERLY clever! Looking forward to the next one! 👍🏴🇬🇧
WOW! Jordon you are THE MAN!!! This is sooo exciting and I can't wait to see what's next!🙌🌈 Sadie is so adorable! Her spirit and enthusiasm is such a mirror of you both and a true joy to watch unfold❤❤❤ Stay safe, be well and see ya next time👋👋👋
You said it very well Mary Hart!!!👍👍😍Isn't Sadie adorable??? Kaylee is beautiful and someone said Jordan should shave his beard. I think he looks handsome, cleanshaven or not. So happy for them getting running water for their farm!!!😍♥️🥰😉🤗
You know what, your reaction towards a working ram pump is exactly what i felt when my ram pump worked. The feeling of its not working and the motivation to make it works, is the same feeling i had. When it works in the video i can you fell you so well. Great job bro..
I LOVE YALL! Jordan is so smart and y’all are both such hard workers. You’re living my dream! I could watch Sadie for a solid hour just doing what she does! I don’t have gran kids so I’m crazy about her❤. Y’all are wonderful and Sadie is going to grow up so well adjusted because she’s always there with you learning from you and feeling secure.
Just... wow. I've been watching you beautiful souls since the beginning... And somehow... you keep making me more & more proud. This is amazing!! Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm for life & love and for capturing the beauty of nature surrounding you.
After an 18 month travel odyssey, 7 South American countries including Patagonia I have travelled north and am day 4 here in Da-DA-Da! Boquete! I fell in Love quite awhile back and it's all your fault, lol! Yours & Da jungleboy's stellar channels and content got me chomping at the bit as I departed the U.S to find a forever home. I now seek a long term rental outside of town in the surrounding hills to enjoy the tranquila & natural beauty. This place is very magical & special. Also I am a fellow New Englander and grew up sliding around in the white stuff of Stowe Mountain. Hope to say howdy in town.
Sadie is learning soooo much by watching all the adult projects around her. OH AND I loveeee how her pops was so excited that he harnessed gravity! ! NEXT itl
You three are just so much fun and your enthusiasm is beyond infectious. I was cheering for ‘Pam the Ram’ - what a girl to have on the team!. Physics is certainly amazing, let’s see how much water you can move over a 24 hour period. Sadie has two amazing parents and she is going to become an even more amazing young lady, thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Good going guys! I think you should move Pam over to where the water would've been flowing so that the discharge from the pump can go where it used to. The flora and fauna will appreciate it.
I’m speechless. This was amazing!! I hope one day you don’t wake up to a “river running through it”! 😊 Love your videos so much. Sadie is the sweetest, cutest little one ever. As a big dog lover, rescuer and foster mama, it’s amazing how the pups follow Jordan and hang with him. Always know they need love and attention, a lot of touching, petting and reassuring that they are doing their job of being loyal on the farm. ❤
Great system and they work well. Just a little tip tho. Make your inlet pipe twice as big as your outlet. It acts as a Reservoir and also helps build pressure against your values resulting in higher flow and pressure. Good choice on values size !! Good luck !!😊😊
It’s always such a joy to watch your little family grow. The excitement you both have and how that shows in Sadie is so sweet. Y’all are amazing parents🤍
Jordan what might help with keeping the water really clean is having that water be pumped up to a secondary area where it filters through another screen/really nice sand/washed rock. And then pump it up further up from that secondary spot.
You are going to need some water “ head” or flow to make Ram pump work. Water just from a hole won’t work so hook up small solar panel and 12v pump to entry on ramp pump and put water source hose in your water hole. The 12v pump will not have enough power to send water uphill where you need it but the Ram pump will working together.
Just catching up on your videos! You are amazing! I would never have believed you could pump that water! Fantastic! You have water! Yay! Congratulations! Your little Sadie is as cute and so smart. Thanks for sharing your life with all of us. I have been watching since you bought your bus way back when! Love you guys. I talk to my friends about you like you are good friends. It feels like that!❤
Another HUGE helpful thing that Jordan can do for his allergies, if you can find it, is locally made honey! I have allergies living in the Mojave Desert that I never had when living in CA. Someone told me to find locally made honey and put it in hot water and drink, or just have a spoonful everyday, and BOOM! Allergies WAY less than before! Love you guys, and I love your Lola’s Farm! 🥰❤️
omg,,,how exciting to see this video today of all days. We just found our dream land in Panama and started the buying process today. It has a river and we'll be getting our water from it (and collecting rain water) and my hubby has been talking about how to do it, by consructing a mini dam to create a pool and then pumping it and then I see your latest video. Glad its worked for you. Cant wait to start our adventure - all your videos are such a huge insight and inspiration - thank you.
My heart smiled for all the accomplished task you've all have completed w dedicated hard work and the great ppl in your lives! Sadie's vocabulary is great! she's got two of the best parents! Congrats on the water too! It's truly heart-warming to watch you & your beautiful family.
I'm in San Antonio at the missions. They have a grinding mill here that uses water from the San Antonio River which is substantially away. I think, like here, the holding pond is the secret. Making the holding deep enough and with high walls will build more pressure. You might know about this already since you are from TX. They made this in 1700s and it is quite impressive to me. They made mortar and concrete. I never heard of this pump you made. So cool and great job.
I was genuinely very invested on if this pump was gonna work. I don't think I've EVER been so excited over plumbing, guys. Thanks for taking me on a wild ride, lol. Hope Pam the pump gives you many happy, indoor showers!
I live off-grid in the middle of Mexico. I understand your excitement and getting something as commonplace as water. I have a deep soaking tub that's heated by the solar water system. You guys are amazing and so encouraging to me ☺️
Do you know the source of this trickle of water? it's probably all the local neighboring septic tanks run-off. Can you get a water testing kit to see if the water is OK to use?
Wow, amazing physics indeed. I'm still trying to wrap my head around that concept. Anyway, it works. Congratulations on getting water for your homestead.
I know your amazing parents I had to share the mirror story though I am a mom of 3 adult kids n 4yrold grangirl they love mirrors as well myself n the kids all separately ended up badly injured w mirrors same reason if possible they have amazing cheap non breaking fake type glass it's been awesome they even have mini one for showers etc but.i was like my kiddos stepped n crawled on them n it was so unexpected so love ya guys n again just caring advice ❤️
Great job Jordon I was sure you would figure some way to get more water too your place. Very impressed young man keep up the amazing work. I love your homestead.‼️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You two are amazing. Jordan, with your drive and ambition all things are possible. Your never say die attitude makes an old swamp yankee from CT proud of a fellow New Englander. Thanks for yet another great lesson in patience and fortitude.
You are such an amazing engineer!.! The water system is absolutely amazing, good job. Sadie is so darn cute and what a smart little girl. Her learning Spanish is so good for her to know, I can’t tell you how much she will benefit knowing a second language. Good job you two on the progress your making on the land. Can’t wait to see the finished bathroom! How is the house coming along for Enrique and what happened to his girlfriend?
I love u two so much I received ur shirt I love it ,,thanks for sharing ur life with me ,,I learn so much with u all u r all very wise ❤thanks again so I’ll be ordering coffee to my home town Canada Ontario hugs to all of u
You are amazing, Jordan. FYI, I seen a teaching moment. When Sadie asked for some of your pancakes. = No, no bye. LOL She could learn, by association. She is so smart. Love from California.
Glad you guys have water can't wait what Jordan will bring for the next episode. Saide had me cracking up, "No, No, Bye" 😂🤣😂🤣 It runs in the family, love how she said "agua" in Spanish, she is so adorable! 🥰😍 Stay safe and see you on the next one. 💪
I remember reading about people using those kind of system in Africa..................so cool to see you not only build one, but reap the amazing results. You are such a beautiful team!!!!!!🧡💛💚💙💜❤🤎 and the rainbows are pretty spectacular as well.
💚Amazing how that simple little pump works to create 40 PSI! How wonderful you'll have water for all your bathroom needs-Woo Hoo Hoo 🎉. Love those rainbows (but sure I could handle the wind) 💚
You are amazing Jordon! I was so hoping that this water source was going to work and you did it!! Giving you a round of applause for all your hard work. I love how little Sadie girl is learning so much each and every day. She really gets her point across doesn't she. "No! Bye!" I love it. lol
Seems like a small thing, but a full water system is quite an achievement. Awesome!
True. Small but essential for a better quality of life.

LOL I can relate! We call our storage shed Dad's Home Deoot.

There you go, another proud moment! You are amazing! You have water on your property!
I am super happy for You guys !! You dig the gold. Now You must mantain and watch over. Crossing my fingers and praying for endless success !!!
It be a blessing to have anything from a tractor to golf cart something to help haul stuff
omg,,,how exciting to see this video today of all days.
May GOD bless You, your joy and your efforts always!❤
This one was amazing and awesome the way you did that water coming up hill. Wow! Wonderful! Praise God!
I had a spring on my property and used a ram pump to ump the water to my off grid house. There is a learning curve.
This is one of your BEST videos
Jordan, you should do a short video of how to make that pump
The excitement, wonder and joy of your whole family is contagious. Thanks for passing it on :)
I Love the excitement from Jordan on the sunset. It's the simple things in life that I wish we could all appreciate. Love you guys!!!
Wow, amazing physics indeed. I'm still trying to wrap my head around that concept. Anyway, it works. Congratulations on getting water for your homestead.
The joy and excitement you had just made my day!! We've got water. You did it.

Great job. I was going to suggest a water filter but that water looks clear, not muddy. Congratulations. 🙏

You are amazing, Jordan. FYI, I seen a teaching moment. When Sadie asked for some of your pancakes. = No, no bye. LOL She could learn, by association. She is so smart. Love from California.
Glad you guys have water can't wait what Jordan will bring for the next episode. Saide had me cracking up, "No, No, Bye" 😂🤣😂🤣 It runs in the family, love how she said "agua" in Spanish, she is so adorable! 🥰😍 Stay safe and see you on the next one. 💪
What a blessing to have water on your land! So very happy for you all!! And Sadie couldn't be any darn cuter!!!
So amazing with the water!!!! And watching Sadie take it all in. She'll know how to do everything!!
That little madam is so mature and knows what she wants when she wants. Not scared to call it as she sees it.
You are amazing Jordon! I was so hoping that this water source was going to work and you did it!! Giving you a round of applause for all your hard work. I love how little Sadie girl is learning so much each and every day. She really gets her point across doesn't she. "No! Bye!" I love it. lol
