Nice overview of an interesting operation! So about 99.9% yellow, even on the belt run?

The sunstone has a hardness of 6.5-7.5. Fairly hard stone actually. And that line is called a cleavage plane. The naturally fracture on those planes. ✌️ Nice gemstones.
