@@rinokumura5972 It's technically Eb you tune the bass down a half step and you can pretty much live on the upper part of the neck

this is an alternative way of playing this song, because on the original you have to tune the bass in a certain way

Was this song very easy to do? I’d love to play bass and play this song but as a beginner I’m not sure if it would be the best song to start off with-
This song is actually quite beginner friendly I think. Just focus on the main riff first and play it slow for a few times. Then try and increase tempo

I really want to get into bass and I’m highly considering it. Is their a way to make a bass sound exactly like the songs? What bass should I get and does it just matter on the tuning?

It's because this is a modified version, the right way is in Half-Step down tuning with lower notes.

Do you guys even listen to the song and do a little bit of research before claiming that something is wrong without explaining anything?
When you listen to the original song you immediately notice that octaver effect on the bass. So there are two common ways to archive this. One, you could layer a second track of the same bassline played an octave deeper. Second, you play the bassline an octave up and use an octaver pedal just as I did. Both ways lead to the same result.
When you listen to the original song very carefully with headphones you can even here these two layers of bass. The one played an octave up even sounds like it’s played with a pick or something to give it a bit more attack.
Even further, watch some live performances. On every live performance I’ve seen so far, the bassist played it just the way I did.
It’s up to you how you want to play it. You can just play the Bassline an octave lower, higher, with or without octaver pedals etc.
So just because almost everyone on UA-cam plays it an octave lower doesn’t mean that it’s the only or correct way.
