Samsung NP305V5A-A0CUS laptop screen removal (replacement procedure)

In this video, I'll be showing the process of removing the LCD screen from this Samsung laptop (model NP305V5A-A0CUS). Since this panel was not too difficult to get to, I pulled it to get the part number to look up a replacement. Due to the exorbitantly high cost of a replacement screen for this specific model laptop (screen costs $140 for a 12 year old laptop), the customer opted to keep the existing screen. Due to the overall condition of this machine, I question how much longer it will last.

Does the replacement have to be original?
I wanted to put a good FHD glossy screen... That way the laptop would be decent for media consumption and won't be siting getting dust.
I assuming its not possible, right?

The problem is this laptop requires a very specific model of screen. None of the panels I had on hand were compatible. With other models, you might be more lucky, especially if the model was offered with a glossy screen as an option.
