But when we forgive, we are forgiven and our spiritual enemies who tried to get us angry with negative thoughts are defeated - or 'overcome' as you put it.

I frequently try to see adult people as they were as children along with their wounds and fears they had. It helps me to be more tolerant. It is amazing how the atmosphere changes and people become more communicative. I am not nearly at the level as this gentle man, but I know what works for me in being more loving when I am confronted with a situation that can turn into an annoying one...

There is a quote made by a German philosopher named Schopenhauer, and that is "Compassion to anger, is like water to fire." A wonderful quote from a very insightful man. Schopenhauer can be a bit of a downer, but he really had the gift of seeing into the souls of the human race. It helps all of us, even those of us that practice it. Now, remember, the person doesn't always respond, but it helps us because, of course, we are only human and in being that we have natural inclinations to negative reactions to someone with feelings that are unhealthy for both. I guess what I am saying is not to get discouraged. It is wonderful to see people when you don't react to their anger. Here's a story about what happened to mum you might be intetested in reading. She blesses the sick with God's love in her mind. One day, she walked passed a man slumped over in pain outside a medical centre. His friend tried to help him but was getting nowhere. She sent out her blessing and continued walking on her way. On the way back, she saw the man happy and sitting upright talking to his friend. As soon as she approached his vicinity, he pointed at her shouting "She did it, she did it." Mum was confused and thought he was accusing her of something negative. And told the friend who was curious that she did nothing to him. When she got further away she heard him say I feel better because of what she said about me.

This is true! The Father wants us to love, we get offended by our love ones, friend's, Boss etc But God's want us to just pray for them because if they know better they won't hurt you. Forgiveness and Acceptance. I just experience this today before I saw the video and the holy spirit said pray for them. Sometimes is not easy on us to do that, maybe because who, what, why, when, how etc. Forgiveness sets you free from from devil's charges or schemes.
It’s true, its never easy to pray for people who hurt you, especially the ones you love and care for. I wonder, why do they keep on doing it when they know that its wrong? I can’t pray for them because I am hurting and I don’t understand why they call themselves believers if they hurt people that care for them.
