new age ,I'm ex new age myself: it really isn't a religion (but I guess people feeling a need put it as one trying to fill the void only GOD can fill cuz HE is missing from the lives of unrepentant sinners :
The philosophy is basically just to get ideas from any source in that philosophical search of self improvement (at least what I was doing *seeking something to rest on,inner peace & bliss) ; their intention is to have in mind the spiritual dimension of us human beings to go beyond the material and *there where the problem resides* that's where satan enters because their minds are also open to the different rituals.
One day a new age is probably visiting a Buddhist temple and time later goes to Hara Krishna reunion and make participate in a Wiccan ritual and then tend a class on Tao it's open to anything according to the individual's case did not bind himself with any religious way or philosophy.
They're trying to cut the jacket to the measure of the person not cut the person to the measure of the jacket.
The other dilemma is there's no assurance of salvation and to believe in reincarnation there's no religion for medium to guarantee but in this life you'll transcend to Eternity
They preach forgiveness and non-violence, of course against robbery and adultery, and gambling and even Taoism and Buddhists are against homosexuality also vices All are against the ego and four serving others; put all the philosophies together and process them adequately and Scripture preaches the same morals. If we filter them through the light of Holy Scriptures, they're on the right track when it comes to healthy morals
*The thing is to give them JESUS because they need to know* that HE paid all the "Karma" ( word for the reap what you sow reality/fact we know ) can I guess they make it a religion because many new age are still persist in sin (adultery, or lgbtq,fornication or still lie or cheat, get drunk or do drugs or smoke etc. and won't live 100% to their philosophy.. or common sense morals for the matter (non violence, no vices, no lie or adultery etc)

Im sorry to say, something isn't right about this story. Be careful with these people who pull out the dramatics when healing. Jesus heals, but I just can't believe this one.
