I don't agree with a lot of your character creation decisions, but I LOVE your rationalizations. i also have a reach fighter, where i went Bardiche, so let's see how much better that fouchard is.

Christopher Kim it’s not really better until you have all of the crit bonuses and status effects late game. Might work better on a pure 2h fighter than a sneak attack build. Sadly, we won’t be seeing late game reach play due to hardware failure. It’s a lot of fun. I think it really lends itself to status effect/intimidation play with lots of cleaves.

I love this game. But you calling it "savescum, the game." Is completely accurate. Although I think the kingdom management is better than you give it credit for. The issue is i have is lack of advisors and sooooo many hidden timers.

Christopher Kim I don’t think people realize just how much, as the game goes on, the kingdom management is really a linear on-rails path and if you are falling behind or over focussing on it you will pay the price. The best advice I can give anyone is to focus primarily on adventuring until after finishing Act 3 (magic beasts) and spend only a bit here or there when there’s little to do before that. Once Varnhold Vanishing starts there is significantly more time for kingdom. Spending too much time too early leads to negative event spirals in Act 2 (troll raids) and act 3 (magical beast attacks) that can just be rushed through.
