Thanks for sharing this Watto. We only saw Polperro from the sea as our RIB boat ride from Looe went to the outer harbour. Car charges are a bit steep! It seems so different to Looe. Ha ha love the drone remark! Good video Paul. Best wishes Mike, Elaine, Samuel and Thomas 😎😍👬
Hi Guys thank for watching. Yes I guess you did the same as the Rib we saw. A quick look from the harbour. It is a lovely place to explore. I do wonder about the parking, but how much do people pay to visit a castle or a zoo etc. It is all relative really. Hope you all have a great week. Best wishes from us both. 👍🚶🏻♂️🚶🏻♀️
What a BEAUTIFUL place to wander Watto & Kim - loved watching you get lost around Polperro, so Italian sounding? but my gosh its just stunning, I have to agree with you that it is absolutely breath-taking, the view that you showed us from the 'east' overlooking Polperro was outstanding, loved the seagull selfie too, what great timing and those little gulls, babys! Really enjoyed listening to the history surrounding the 'smuggling' some incredible photo spots there it seems, cannot wait to see Kim's pics! That harbour is pretty special I have to say, would love to do the boat tour round to Looe or vice versa. You have a great way of capturing the beauty here Paul, it's outstanding, as is the edits and the music! Thank you both for your wonderful work and for sharing this little slice of heaven!
Thanks so much. It is such a lovely place and made for wandering around. We certainly enjoyed our time there. Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for your very kind comments. 🙏🏼🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️
Good evening guys we love this how beautiful. The old streets and whitewashed houses are amazing. It really looks like a film set wonderful that places like this exist. The sea does its business too looking idylic. We love a model village always go if there is one 😆. Really enjoyed this . Thank you for sharing. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it guys. You are right it is like a film set. We did think it looked a bit like somewhere in Greece. we enjoyed our day there. thanks for coming along with us.
Hi Kim and Watto, This small village has its own charm a little different than the rest of the UK. No first food restaurant, no arcade games/computer games, but locals. I was mesmerized by white walls throughout the village. Well done! Epic! Thank you
Oh wow. Daphne must have been on holiday from Devon 😃Polperro is lovely and well worth a visit. Thanks for watching. best wishes from us both. 👍🚶🏻♂️🚶🏻♀️
What a beautiful place 😍 To be honest, £12 for all day parking is cheap compared to Aberdeen. Loved the model of the model of the town! Really enjoyed that 👍 Well done 🧸🐻
Well it looked well worth a visit to me (parking apart!), especially if you get a sunny day like that. I always enjoy an early start, hate walking around in crowds of people and although I enjoy heard the gulls, stuff a selfie with one, they look dam aggressive to me! I always love those narrow streets and a small harbour always looks great. Funny, I have never heard of Polperro before but it looked amazing and a place you could almost get lost in. They have a Roly's Fudge Shop in Keswick too, dam expensive as I remember and yes, I have been inside and bought as well lol. I remember visiting a model village when I was a kid but sure that was in Dorset. Makes you wonder if they are trying to put visitors off with that car parking charge, cheers Alan
deffo worth a visit Alan. Parking is expensive but people pay way more to visit a country house or a zoo so I guess it is relative. Polperro is such a charming place. we did get swooped on when eating a pasty by the harbour by the Gulls. Love a bit of Roly's fudge. And of course a pasty. the car park is owned by a local millionaire and not the council. He owns half the campsites in the area too. Greedy bugger.
I fondly remember my childhood holidays here, we were always impressed by the shell house and the narrow streets...i also fondly remember nights spent in the Blue peter when i returned as an adult...walks to Talland bay was always a favourite too...but wow the parking is a bit pricey
Yes the walk to Thalland Bay is very good on nice day. Yeah parking is expensive but, people pay twice that to walk around a mansion or visit a zoo. So i guess it is all relative.
What a fabulous place to visit. Do you have a wishlist you tick off or go where ever the sun shines brightest? Thanks for sharing this lovely day with us. I bet you both got your steps in for the day. Just lovely and I really liked the wee miniature village. Lots of history there too. Good coverage. Enjoyed visiting with you. 👌🇳🇱🙋🏼♀️🥝
Thanks Anita. We usually have a list of where we want to go in an area. And it is pot luck with the weather. Plenty of steps that day but a charming place to wander. Thanks for coming along. Warm wishes from us both. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶🏼♀️

What a charming village. It's so picture perfect. I do think the parking charges are a bit on the high side, though. The beautiful buildings, narrow streets, and stunning views of the water and boats make it all worthwhile. Also, I absolutely adored the model village. You showcased it beautifully. Wishing you a great day Watto.
Glad you are feeling better! This looks amazing you always have a great tour and definitely feel like you are my tour guide with your wife. You guys are a cute couple. Thanks for sharing
@@WanderingwithWatto yes that’s very true and also it’s £6-£7 for Coffee for two out so if you look at it that way it’s not too bad for a day out and a very nice place to walk about

Fantastic video guys loving your cornwall series .love polperro that walk down to the harbour bought back some great memories for me and seein you a the model village was great loved it there .we use to walk round to loo many a time .keep the great work up
Thanks Simon. Glad to have brought back some memories. The walks either way from Polperro are good Thalland Bay or Looe. Always love the model village.
Polperro is definitely a beautiful village but it has always had what I too consider an inflated parking charge. The last time we visited it was while staying in Looe and we were able to walk and take the bus back. That added so much to the day which was really wet and windy. I have just booked a National Trust cottage along the coast towards Fowey so another walking visit is in prospect at the beginning of November. Robert has spent all year to date awaiting an op so we have not been mobile since early January. He had the op just over a week ago and is now ready to get back out enjoying travelling. Polperro looked great as the sun eventually broke through. Your favourite view is also ours. It is the first sight you get of the village when walking on the coast path and is just so enticing. Hope you have a wonderful week. Ivor & Robert.
I think £10 all day would be fairer. It is a very charming g place and the walk from Looe is lovely. Thailand Bay the other way is also good. The view from East cliff is the money shot for sure. Glad to hear Robert is well and ready to get back at it. A cottage sounds nice. We like Fowey too. Enjoy your trip. Thanks for watching. Best wishes from us both. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️
Absolutely gorgeous village! Very picture perfect and I loved the model village. I would say that the cost of parking to visit, does horrify me. Last year in the UK I was shocked at how much parking cost and spent a lot of time complaining about it! It didn't stop us visiting as being tourists we wanted to see the places but I do wonder if for locals it means they would rather take a cheap holiday abroad rather than spend time in the UK. I do think it affects the local tourism businesses as we spent a few hours in a place rather than a day as the parking was cheaper, so instead of having morning tea, lunch and an afternoon snack in different places, it was a quick snack and then off.
It is a very nice place, but I agree with you it does put people off a bit. Although the car park was full when we got back. As always thanks for watching. Have a good week.
Absolutely amazing tour guys, loved the model village and the seagull selfie. We hate that the UK is so expensive this is a place we would love to spend a LOT of time in. Shame about the parking price but for what the place offers it does seem worth it 👍
