My princess/ queen whatever was in morning sun for several hours and she seemed to enjoy that. She’s going to be flowering for me soon unless the transition from outside to insides causes her to bud blast🌺💚🙃
I'm in ohio too! I have 2 princesses. I just got another to attempt some sun stressing. I have my older one in an east window. It gets some pink, at least on the new growth.. I have the other in a west but no sunstressing yet! I thought it would sunstress! Its been about 3 weeks and nothing so far. I am scared to put it in a south window..at least for now because its a new plant. South windows here really aren't that bright!! I have a variegated soh in my south window and I think it needs more light. Its happy and growing really fast but I don't have any pink on it yet. Just white and green..at least on the new growth.the leaves aren't even thick!! I am thinking about adding a grow light for the soh but I have no experience with them.
I love sun stressed hoyas! In my experience it can take a while for sun stressing and your right the new leaves show the stress quicker. A grow light will def help out

Oh I hope they hang on! I have yet to see one of my hoyas fully bloom

Not without a piece of stem with a node. The leaf may root but won’t be able to grow a full plant
