Mark, my man you saved my sprinkler! It was a little different, but there were the 2 screws on the bottom, no cover, but I took the sprinkler out of the housing and cleaned in my sink, man the dirt and junk came out I was amazed, cleaned it all, put it back together and now works like new ! Thanks Man!!!
Thanks for the video. I have the same sprinkler and it stopped oscillating. You saved me a trip to the hardware store and $20. Simply popped off the cover and repositioned holes on posts and viola. I didn't even have to take it off the hose.
A suggestion - at about 1:46 in the video you hear the clicking of the sprinkler - we need to see what he is doing as just putting the sprinkler back on the pins does not solve the problem. Does anyone have a video of what is being done to readjusting the bar ie. what is he doing to readjust?
Hi I wanted to thank you for making this video. I know it's an old one but you helped me repair my sprinkler and saved me throwing an otherwise good product out to waste!
I’ve tried this before coming to this video, is there anything else that can be done?? Mine lets the water out but doesn’t move anymore, I’ve tried clicking in all directions nothing ??
Thats a pretty straight forward repair but it seems the rest of the sprinkler can not be disassembled at all .I have the same unit. Mine leaks large amounts of water between the rotator part and the hose connection. Tried tightening, changing rubber washers , no apparent cracks but it still leaks profusely. Anyone have suggestions before i chuck this one. Only 2 years old , very disappointing quality.
I have an old fan type unit. Almost all metal, just a yellow adjustment knob. Great unit but having problems getting the adjustment knob to rotate. Been working great for years. Purchased at second hand store for $4. Don’t want to give up on it. Any suggestions?
The tiny knob at the end opposite the large knob get lost during the winter and I always have to purchase a new one because the knob is needed to keep water pressure.
Nice video. Thank you! I ended up just taking that cover part off. Seems to work fine. It still has a weird calibration problem, but at least it works.
MARK BROWN IS THE FUCKIN SHIZNIT! THOUGHT I WAS GONNA HAVE TA SHELL OUT MAD CASH FOR ANOTHER SPRINKDINKLER BUT NA MA MAN FIXED DA SHIT FO ME OH YEAH BRAH!
It would be helpful if you put the make and model number in the title and keywords. I am searching for help for a different problem with a different model and wasted time watching this. I'm sure it would be helpful if I had that particular problem.
Thanks! My husband is going to be so impressed I fixed the sprinkler by myself.

thanks so much. you just saved me a lot of time and aggravation.
I bought 3 gilmour sprinlers that look similar, but cannot open them up. All 3 failed after about 2 weeks.
I bought a Gilmour that failed the second or third time I tried to use it. Have to go out and look and see if it can be fixed this easily.

I've got a 3 arm metal spinning sprinkler that came apart. Looks like it had a rubber o-ring that's missing. Any help?

What are the tiny knobs? That’s my sprinkler problem - a missing tiny knob - but I don’t know what it is called. What is it? Where do you get it?
@@ayedubbleu3082 I don’t know what it’s called and they don’t sell parts for this device, I went into Lowes and bought a new sprinkler.
I have same sprinkler thanks so much.
Thanks, big help.
I always buy the cheap yellow plastic ones hoping I will get a longer time with it but always regret it after a year because it breaks

Helpful video. Next time, as handsome as you are, better to have product on camera while putting it back together. 😂😂
