I must say I really feel for lappi. He’s had terrible luck this year, and especially after his co driver retiring It was a bit heartbreaking, but nevertheless excited for the next year

@@mcgeemcgee3539 yeah it's never quite worked for him. Going to Citroën really ran his career off the rails unfortunately!

Imo Fourmaux should only move if Hyundai are planning to only have 3 cars next year, wouldnt make much sense to trade a full time drive for a part time one, even if your equipment might be a tad better

Exciting times for sure, i have a feeling we will see some more considerable surprises actually. Not so sure we will be seeing Elfyn and Ott att the same positions. Truly hoping for Adrien to stay at M-sport. I also guess Solberg will have to figure out his sponsorship pinch sooner or later, before it is to late.

Hyundai really want a reliable third driver, so I think theyll make Fourmaux an offer he cant turn down. Msport have it all to do, perhaps Mikklesen & Lappi get a shared drive (if the finances work out), a car for Solberg (if the sponsorship works out) then a shared WRC/ WRC2 calendar for Sesk & Munster.

Solberg and sesks at m-sport makes the most sense if fourmaux were to leave which looks more and more likely

@@jacj09 that would be a great lineup if it could happen. I think both are hungry and have shown good speed

Would love Solberg at M-Sport. But I get that the sponsor situation is a bit off. At the same time I think Fourmaux should stay.

If Fourmaux was to leave & take his RedBull money with him, Solberg & monster energy into Msport would make sense tbf.

@@jackcadwallader6726 that is true, but it might cause issues with the Red Bull F1 partnership I guess?

If fourmax goes to Hyundai on a full time drive, Mikkilsen and Lappi would lack seats and that would prevent any chance of Solberg getting a rally 1 seat

I think this might be the end of the road for Mikkelsen and Lappi to be honest, so I'm not sure they will factor in the discussion for next season. Even if Fourmaux stays at M-Sport, Hyundai could bring in Solberg, Sesks, or promote someone like Lindholm, so there are limited options for them to stay
