This was made closer to the MTM era if anything, and it wasn't even LP related...

it was made during 2005. So late post Meteora - pre MTM. Alot of the early MtM stuff demos ranging from 05-early 06 have a Meteora feel to them, for example Pale, this demo sounds like something that could have been on Meteora with some flavors of MtM in it, and others like Homecoming, Anouncement public service, Divided.
