The fact that Linkin Park experiments with their sound as much as they do regardless of what most of their fans think is one of the main reasons I love them. It shows they care about the music more than the fame they get from it.
I was also wondering why. They are probably the best and unique band that I have ever seen in my entire life. and until now they are not yet disbanded. They going strong.
you know what people says that when world is filled by too many bad things there's always a hero who saves others. when we were surrounded by artists who give us Worst Music, Singers who have Worst Vocal Quality, No meaningful Lyrics (Always about Sex, Drugs, Crime, Love etc bullshits), and songs who we will never be able to feel from our heart and connect with our lives. than we get This Talented and Awesome Band. There's Reason Why People Call This Band Soldier. Because This Band Has Save Music. No Sex, No Drugs, No Love Songs, No Auto tune, No Cheap Lyrics. only 100% Talent.
As Mike said, LP likes to make everything sound big. Hybrid theory..something unheard, Meteora is an interesting rock, Minutes to midnight is a clock with one pointer that gets closer to midnight whenever wars break out or some kind of catastrophies, and a thousand suns... nothing to explain here. And these are only the names of their albums. They like to make music that goes through your soul and makes you think about life... atleast for me. They make things epic. Thats why they are my favorite
Tokenwizard Unwanted Truths isn't an official album. It's fan-made, and I can't get any high-quality downloads of Underground releases, as the Linkin Park Underground albums aren't on iTunes.
I swear I've seen this when I was younger and am now just rediscovering it. Surprisingly that's a first for me on UA-cam. Probably about a 10 or 11 year gap there lmao.
I think the greatest part so far about Linkin Park over these years is knowing that they're gunna find ways that will ALWAYS catch our ears and they let us hear their stories in every song....and now we get to see them rise even higher to their goals.
THIS IS AMAZING! LP just made a song for us back in the LPU in one day to show us how they used protools 8, and for many this is a masterpiece! FREAKING AWESOME!
This shows how great they are individualy. Bourdon on the drums + shinoda's inspiring piano track + mr hahn mixing it all together. It's sad that this song is not developed till the end, all we need is a perfect chesters vocal and mike's lyrics
yo man it's all over the internet and the lp website and Mike's blog. they're hoping to release it sometime this year probably around the summer hopefully. lookin forward to it!!
Dude, i know people don't like mtm but i LOVE it! I think its their best album personally. When they first came out, they had a different outlook on what would make them successful then what they do now. plus, the producer of mtm is known as one of the greatest producers in the industry because he takes a bands(or groups) strengths(in this case, Chester) and utilizes them which is why there is so little Mike, because Chester blows him out of the water talent wise! LP is now more of a rock band!
I really like this. LP did grow up. It shows that bands grow up and evolve just like us. I like every thing. Sure, I do respect their old albums more, but I think their newer stuff is pretty good as well.
Ahh....I can't wait till their new album comes out. Love MTM, but I miss their old sound. It's nice to know that they're going back to their roots, but incorportating their newer style.
Wow, love that song! Even if it's just instrumental... It has something magical, doesn't it? =D I love it so much that I decided to make my own music video for it. ^^
@kilrazan I completely agree with the last part, and, I've always enjoyed the older Linkin park because it used to be darker and grungy and more hardcore, but, from listening to "the Catalyst" from their new album, my guess is that they're bringing that back because their manager or whatever wanted them to create songs about how they feel about life and themselves instead of "world" tragedies" like they used to so, hopefully this album will be a lot better than "minutes to midnight"
Quoi que fasse Linkin Park, c'est toujours énorme à écouter. Il pourraient faire n'importe quel type de musique, je suis sûr que ça serait top. LP 4 EVER =)
Can you guys believe that this was only an "Experiment" Mike and Rob made while testing Digidesign's Pro Tools 8? Yet it's such an amazing piece? This tells you just how talented LP is.
I'd like to see this as an intro on their new album or even an extended version with vocals. I like it a lot. It's not MTM, but it's not their old stuff either. Sounds good.
I personally loved all of them. The anger and tempo of the first two albums was amazing, then Minutes To Midnight added something for to that, a bigger meaning. A Thousand Suns was different, yes, but I love it how it was one, big song, tackling the issues of war and death in a new, different way, yet still distinguishable as Linkin Park. Living Things then came on mixing all the other four albums.
@SkyGrinder2007 I believe this was an LPU8 demo, it was used to test out the new protools they got, they never turned it into a full song, just kept it as this, gave it away to LPU members as like a Christmas gift i believe.
Man I hate listening to this song because it sounds so much better than my own studio work. :( I guess that it encourages me a lot too. Yay for Mike Shinoda and pro tools!
this sample is tight :D i wish they would release little samples on their next album tho :( im dying for a new ALBUM i frkin love LP!!!!! i hope their new albums connects with their old ones but with new kicks in it :D
@kilrazan I mean i can agree for the most part with that, but in the same light, they had over 100 songs prepared for Minutes to Midnight, and they made the choices. On Reanimation Mike talked about how the originally changed their mind on wanting him to rap on the songs, they all fought to keep Mike's raps on there. Now they do newer stuff that granted isn't the same but I feel it truly shows a rare evolution as artists in a scene where it's very easy to stay the same
Honestly I think LP has been going in a pretty good direction if you think about it because they have been promoting Hybrid Theory and Meteora for about 6 years (three years each album) took a break and then came back with something different (Minutes to Midnight). Although it was different, I still enjoyed it and you also have to realize that they are no longer in their 20's and their old style was starting to die down. But their new album A Thousand Suns will be a mix of HT Meoteora and MTM.
When I was 14 I listened to this all day while playing Tomb Raider: climbing and jumping through caves and lost temple ruins. This was so atmospheric
yeah linkinpark does that
I thought I was the only one
Oiuyaajvzm UA-cam channel app Garden Rakhna
very cool!
Good old days are now.
The fact that Linkin Park experiments with their sound as much as they do regardless of what most of their fans think is one of the main reasons I love them. It shows they care about the music more than the fame they get from it.
Why is Linkin Park so awesome !?
I was also wondering why. They are probably the best and unique band that I have ever seen in my entire life. and until now they are not yet disbanded. They going strong.
***** Exactly! :)

Gurudan Gadhvi shut up
Why is everything so heavy?
This is Shinoda's part of the LP experience.
That man is a musical genius
LP cant make bad songs. Everything they do is great
Wish it had a powerful Chester's vocal... the music is beautiful and sort of uplifting.
I really think LP should release an album with this in and loads of their other masterpieces that aren't officially on an album.
evilduck1000 You should check out their Underground albums if you haven't already! :) Lots of demos there.
Morrowindur I shall do at some point.
@@evilduck1000 did you?
@@AThousandSunsinphysics Don't think I did unfortunately. 😬
@@evilduck1000 so when will you ? It's been 7+ years...
Everything what they create sounds awesome
As Mike said, LP likes to make everything sound big. this song is perfect to include in a movie
like drama tv show intro
Or an Album
Every thing that linkin park touches turns into gold it has legends written all over
At 1:35 I feel like I hear Chester screaming lyrics (not like faint but a softer scream, similar to breaking the habit)
Just listen this ua-cam.com/video/yWkmebggAeA/v-deo.html
Sorta wish this lasted 10 hours :/
I know
This is one of the deepest instrumental's of Linkin Park, it goes directly into my soul
Wish this was on an album, along with Unfortunate.
Unwanted Truth...
Tokenwizard I meant on a purchasable official album on a network like iTunes so that I could have a better quality version than downloading it.
... It IS, look it up!
Tokenwizard Unwanted Truths isn't an official album. It's fan-made, and I can't get any high-quality downloads of Underground releases, as the Linkin Park Underground albums aren't on iTunes.
Sign up and download them from their official site.
I swear I've seen this when I was younger and am now just rediscovering it. Surprisingly that's a first for me on UA-cam. Probably about a 10 or 11 year gap there lmao.

You can literally hear the magic... Theres something in their music, I can not describe it.... God bless you Linkin Park!
big ups for that, this is really a post-rock song, can't wait to see what they'll do to the new album, because this sounds really awesome.
session and lockjaw are the best instrumental i ever heard
This is some great stuff. Hope to hear more like this. Bourdon's input in this song is just mental!
This is like all of their albums smashed together into an amazing instrumental.
omgomgomgomg this song is soo beautiful. linkin park is amazing!
THIS IS AMAZING!
LP just made a song for us back in the LPU in one day to show us how they used protools 8, and for many this is a masterpiece!

man, this is awesome! can't wait for the song 'New Divide' and for their next album to come out! Linkin Park is THE BEST BAND EVER! Rock on!
Did you like new divide?
OMG! 10th year anniversary! I remember when it was released: awesome!
I can't wait! I can't wait!
I read that the album was coming out in the middle of the year.
It should come out in Spring, not like in the summer!
This shows how great they are individualy. Bourdon on the drums + shinoda's inspiring piano track + mr hahn mixing it all together. It's sad that this song is not developed till the end, all we need is a perfect chesters vocal and mike's lyrics
Just. Plain. Amazing.
I love it and I love that they're gonna do more instrumentals. That's always been what I loved most and wanted more from lp. :D
This is pure magic. Listen to it a few times. Really listen to it and you can literally hear the magic
i totally agree...i really hope they add vocals to this piece...cuz the instrumental is so beautifully well made.
I really love this track so much. I play guitar to it a lot. This track has a really dramatic and sexy feel to it.
This sounds awesome! I cant wait for the new album to come out
love this instrumental piece...it has a mix of flavor from the old LP and the new LP style...looking forward to the new album ^^
Mike is seriously just so amazing. His creative genius is very admirable. He is my biggest idol.
LP needs more music like this cuz it's amazing!!!!
I like how this was an LP exclusive for the LPU, yet you upload it to youtube!

Dude, i know people don't like mtm but i LOVE it! I think its their best album personally. I really like this. LP did grow up. It shows that bands grow up and evolve just like us. I like every thing. Sure, I do respect their old albums more, but I think their newer stuff is pretty good as well.
if LP made an entire album of songs like this, i might begin listening to them again
OMG! IT ACTUALLY WORKS! I WISH I HAD NEVER DONE THAT!
Awesome dude. Got anymore? lol,
Ahh....I can't wait till their new album comes out. Love MTM, but I miss their old sound. It's nice to know that they're going back to their roots, but incorportating their newer style.
Needs to be longer. The ending piano part was fuckin fantastic. I love mysterious, sad, and scary melodies.
Wow, love that song! Even if it's just instrumental...
It has something magical, doesn't it? =D
I love it so much that I decided to make my own music video for it. ^^

This song already gives me goosebumps like this... imagine if they would have made lyrics for it... they sure know how to make magic
It does not need lyrics
