I'm considering doing my own cover of this song with this as a backing track. I think I've been doing a pretty good job practicing it, with a Jekyll who starts off the song calm and collected and gradually grows more and more frantic (the "rot in hell" line is shouted) and a Hyde who's more slick, suave, almost seductive, and stays that way for the entire song (the "I'll see you there" line is practically purred).
I'm doing this as a female Jekyll and male Hyde. So, it's Nurse Heather Jekyll, and young nurse who loves her work, and Mister Erin (I changed Hyde's first name.) Hyde, Heather's alter male ego who deeply cares about the girl. Heather and Erin are actually very good friends. Heather is suicidal, and Erin tries to comfort her, but his female version, Emily Hyde, encourages Heather to kill herself. Heather takes a gun, and puts it to her head, and as soon as she goes to pull the trigger, Erin *YEETS* it out of her hand using magic. He runs to her, and hugs her. He kills Emily, and keeps Heather in his arms. Heather buries her face into his chest as he strokes her hair. "That's quite comforting," she says to him. "Shut up," Erin smirks.

I'm making a Mario X MGR:R Parody fanfic (released by hopefully 2024) and one thing about it is I'm including my own original plot points in it, that are either parodying other things that I love or are straight up original. I wrote a few songs in the fic with the inspiration of 3 songs from Jekyll and Hyde and one of them is this but it's a completely different situation that features the Sam (and half-Jekyll + Hyde?) equivalent, Thunderstreak Luigi. A portion of the fic will be a flashback-like journey of his dissent into madness and power from something awful Tatanga did to him and Luigi getting his big revenge, which will result in even more catastrophic things in the main story to happen. I mean, S. K. Michels’ Jekyll & Hyde animatics come pretty close. It’s not quite anime, but let’s just say they draw the guy pretty good-looking, if you know what I mean. They haven’t done the whole show (I don’t think they plan to, unfortunately), but what they’ve done is pretty cool.

I'm considering doing my own cover of this song with this as a backing track. I think I've been doing a pretty good job practicing it, with a Jekyll who starts off the song calm and collected and gradually grows more and more frantic (the "rot in hell" line is shouted) and a Hyde who's more slick, suave, almost seductive, and stays that way for the entire song (the "I'll see you there" line is practically purred).
I'm doing this as a female Jekyll and male Hyde. So, it's Nurse Heather Jekyll, and young nurse who loves her work, and Mister Erin (I changed Hyde's first name.) Hyde, Heather's alter male ego who deeply cares about the girl. Heather and Erin are actually very good friends. Heather is suicidal, and Erin tries to comfort her, but his female version, Emily Hyde, encourages Heather to kill herself. Heather takes a gun, and puts it to her head, and as soon as she goes to pull the trigger, Erin *YEETS* it out of her hand using magic. He runs to her, and hugs her. He kills Emily, and keeps Heather in his arms. Heather buries her face into his chest as he strokes her hair. "That's quite comforting," she says to him. "Shut up," Erin smirks.

The musical was Anastasia, never heard of it, or it's characters but everyone only brought up the fox one to me (which has VERY different characters and is animated) so I did this song cuz I assumed that Hyde would a good show for Rasputin and Jekyll for the other male roles (Rasputin isn't in the Broadway ver) , anywho! I sung this song, the drama teacher said "That was a whole other level, I don't know.. why you've wasted those vocals on your other songs which thanks?... I got a callback for Vlad, but did NOT get the role, but I did get ensemble where I played a villager, a aristocrat, and count Ipolitov (who has a solo song: stay I pray you), the 3 shows went well and I got an award for best supporting actor

I'm making a Mario X MGR:R Parody fanfic (released by hopefully 2024) and one thing about it is I'm including my own original plot points in it, that are either parodying other things that I love or are straight up original.
I wrote a few songs in the fic with the inspiration of 3 songs from Jekyll and Hyde and one of them is this but it's a completely different situation that features the Sam (and half-Jekyll + Hyde?) equivalent, Thunderstreak Luigi.
A portion of the fic will be a flashback-like journey of his dissent into madness and power from something awful Tatanga did to him and Luigi getting his big revenge, which will result in even more catastrophic things in the main story to happen.
To tease you further and because I can't resist the urge any longer, I'd like to share the song I've written that's inspired by Confrontation now.
