Thanks for the performance Miguel! Very relaxing and a great demonstration of many of your wonderful flutes. Especially enjoyed the layered pieces and Arabian scales.

Miguel, you are truly gifted! To know you can get that much music out of one single instrument is amazing. Your drones sound like an entire orchestra. Beautiful concert! Thank you.

Miguel, why does the pinky drone hole not match any hole placement on the flute side? Wouldn’t it have to in order to be a 5th?
    Beautiful sounding flutes!

No that isnt the case. Its all about hole size and spacing.if a fifth is created with three holes open on the 6 hole side, the only way the hole would be the same as the other side is if it was large enough to let as much air out as the 3 holes combined... make sense..if not youll have to just take the flute makers word for it.

Hey, Miguel. Great flutes & great playing. I bought a few flutes from in 2012 - LOVE your totems, especially the egret head! Quickie Q ... I am not familiar with the Arabian tuning but your sample seemed to extend further into its 2nd octave than the normal Minor Pentatonic NAFs. Is that so? Do they get nearly an entire 2nd octave ... at points, it seemed like a shakuhachi (or other rimblown!). Was that particular flute exceptional, in its range, or is that common for the tuning? Thanks. Keep well.

Yes, it is common for me to achieve close to 2 octaves on Arabian and aeolian minor flutes.. It adds a lot to the dynamics of your playing!
