Urban and Country free ride on the 26kw talaria sting! Today I met up with some other guys on their surrons and hit the forest trails after a blast on a closed private road! (in Mexico).

1; I can share it with all my MTB firm who's knees and hips have started to go and think spending £4000 on a mobility scooter that does 8MPH UNRESTRICTED is a fu**ing insult and total embarrassment. We all think that with enough numbers the ol' bill will be too busy with actual crime than pinching old geezers riding a no-polution, quiet emoto on the road instead of running down pedestrians on the footpath.

Hey what’s up.. what handlebars u use and direct mount?
I dont use a direct mount its a dmr defy stem and deity skyrise bars. Personally not a fan of direct mounts if can be avoided. Without them a set of bars can last years but with them a simple drop of the bike will result in bent bars
whats bike have the 60 mph top speed? this got 50?

I can only make it when I get the time! I have other business and YT and bike is just hobby! Each video to record and edit and upload is minimum 5 hours and the reviews and ones with lots of little inserts, clips cut and such can take 10 hours! This weekend I was very busy so this was just some easy quick footage but made for a great video! I will try to get it done asap but I have many businesses to also operate! Maybe next week maybe week after but definitely up coming!

@yho12 yes! I love them! They are amazing! They get me out of trouble a lot too and save my wrists going down bigger drops than i can anticipate and they support the bike well, they are the best by far I have tried!

I also have a mx4 with a 72v 57ah with the nucular controller. Please make a video on your nucular controller settings and tunes.
I now use a torp so I dont have my nucular to make settings video. But i ran max phase amps max battery amps, i also run sotion fw02 motor set field weakening to 280a. Boost set to 9%

@lukeroberts5501 it had more power because the tc1000 does 1000 phase amps. Thats the only reason i swapped to get the most power possible for a top speed video. I like the throttle feel on nucular better though.
Is this the chi battery 72v compact?
No this is 72v 55ah electron dominator battery. I have never used chi batteries 🤪
Will this bike be able shred in the sand dunes same as a dirt bike?
Yes it has much more torque than a dirt bike. You will need paddle tires though. This runs more power to weight than a 450

They’re mx forks made by formula who make the ktm factory brakes but shortened travel to 235mm and lightened internals with custom crown and axles and lowers to take the volar sport brakes. Weigh sub 7kg all in with 235mm travel
The front and rear are volar sport brakes with 3.0mm 250 true floating rotors with a 30mm tall contact edge👍🏻

Magic videos. I get my 2024 Talaria sting R Pro MX5 end of month,been riding the Talaria xxx 60volt, the back tyre is bald as obviously lots of stones on our land ,trails in Scotland. Theres a mountain called Benachie in Aberdeenshire, its 528metres to the top,my Taleria xxx made it to the top bar the last insane steep bit,im sure it would 9f made it just didnt tey as im 54 and got 10 mettal pins iny right ankle,a plastic knee cap,my ligaments were severed,im used to the discomfort as was 18 when a drink driver took me of my road bike,I was in another rta in 2012 a fool in a car did a u turn on a main road ten past 7am on way to work,wow that day changed my life,woke up in Aberdeen Royal infirmary ha a full spleenoctomy. I ride mainly off road as my mates mum n dad got a farm.cqnt wait to get my Talaria sting R Pro MX5. What tyres do you recommend please.great videos thanks Stingy

I'm undecided whether to get a piaggio si or a sting4000, can the tire modify the engine level? Could I get it to reach 140kmh?
Yes with different gearing I can reach 160kph. I have mine geared for offroad and 0-60 is 4.8 seconds. If i gear down I can get 150km/h with 0-60 in about 6.5 seconds. In this video I am reaching 115km/h.
Mine is completely modified every component with 28kw / 38hp 👍🏻

@darkiuplaygm0089 my bike is maxxed out with all new parts some sent for youtube content some I purchased myself but you cannot buy better parts than I have used for the main expensive stuff. Would probably cost you £15k to replicate

@darkiuplaygm0089 in euros this comes to 17.5k € but no you dont need to. I use mine mostly offroad this is first time on road you can get away with less suspension components (-€4000) and keep standard wheels (€-1300) and less expensive brakes (-€900)
Hey stingy, real question, Idk if you have tried one yet but should I sell my sting r with supermoto wheels and a 16 inch rear milk wheel and buy a ERIDE pro ss?? or just upgrade to 72v
Nah just upgrade the sting bro 👍🏻 its just a surron with a lil bit more power and by the time you sold your stock batt, controller and also anything else you have upgraded from, your sting will probably only be a touch more expensive anyway
@@stingyrogerr Hmm okay I apreciate it, Another thing is my swingarm is cracked in multiple places ive been riding street only with it but have you ever checked yours for cracks? specifically where the rubber chain protector is under that it cracked and on the other side its starting to crack, and on the top where the mud gaurd bolts to the swingarm its starting to crack, really annoying i have had it only for a year next month
@realkidcarter mine is an mx3 not an mx4! Mine is perfect i look at my bike in detail after every wash. The mx4 has a lot of weaker spots on it it seems! The linkage design is different on yours to mine also which means the linkage hits your swing arm when the wheel is off the floor maybe this is why it cracked?
@@stingyrogerr Yes!! this is true! it hits for sure there is paint taken off showing that, I bet thats why it cracks!! but is the mx4 really that much different? If I get the mx3 linkage I think it might fix that

I have a sotion motor so we will have different settings to me. I have my field weakening up but also on a 48t which is equivalent to a 52t on surron. Behind my screen is an mx barpad custom adapted to the stem and also to take the screen :)

This is mx3 but completely modded only stock part is frame and gearbox.
All bikes are good they all do the same job but with mx5 you’ll be waiting a while for companies to develop the upgraded parts as the rear axle, swing arm sprocket and gearbox design are all different including the loom and connections to motor and battery

Haha yeah i was sore for 2/3 days after! Offroad now I like 15 front and 7psi rear ! But on road gotta go up to maybe 15 front and 15 rear just cos without rim lock i spin the valves off the tubes. I will put a rim lock in soon tho.
I have supermotos going on next week for some content so will probably run those 25+ psi

Set to Mph - it reads 5% under so at 50 on display it is actually around 52mph gps

What’s the top mph on your bike?
Currently geared for offroad with bigger sprocket in video but it is 74mph. With my supermoto sprocket top speed is 88mph 👍🏻

In places i’m doing 70+ in shorts lol! It has 28kw of power 🤯 but yes 58 is very fast especially if it’s stock!!!
