Really has me feeling like I need to get back into woodworking.
Holy crap! You give new meaning to the term DIY! This stuff is amazing. I need to watch and learn.
Dammmm! Now thats what i call hand made very very nice killer work!!!😮
Really enjoy to look at your video !! Very instructive and down to earth friendly attitude .!! And it start with a «elbow smash » in the face !! 😂😂
I like that shade of blue. Personally, I'd have gone with hot pink somewhere to accent the blue. Like hot pink fret markers.
It's a sheer pleasure to watch you work. You're a true genius to your craft!
One tine piece of advice. There is a tool called, a center drill. It usually goes in an end mill, and will put a center location for a drilled hole, without flexing. There are small ones that will fit your drill chuck. I saw your drill bit flex. Still very impressive work!!
He Don't Need a "center drill" All he needs is a short carbide drill and the problem is solved!!! Using a center drill is a waste of time for drilling the shallow side dot holes.
I would totally buy a kit off you, I don't even need the hardware just the guitar cut ready to load pickups and such
I love the simple jig you made to cut the radius on a fretboard.
sweet "shop tour" my brother!
nice kits!
thats to cool. still stay i wish ya did a 1 7/8 nut neck kit
legendary.
fast looking necks, well pretty thin anyway. well done yall
Some guys jus get all the he fun! Great build bro! Tahuya shawn
Another great video, I've learned alot watching your channel, much appreciated!
I do meticulous work like that too.good job
I am a retired tool & Die machinist who also builds my own guitars, (like to incorporate many Warmoth features) but never tried building any necks! NOW I'm planning to build my own necks also and you've given me some great ideas to consider. My necks will be totally un-conventional as I have very big hands, and regular necks are just too small and un-comfortable for my giant meat hooks! So maybe I'll take a fat-back 7-string neck bland and work from there OR use their extra-wide fatback neck as a pattern to get the final result I need.
Any chance you have a video about that router jig? That thing looked awesome! I might have to make myself one of those but without the radius
Nice work !!
That was neat. Lol I just read your line "And if your hands are so soft you need pantyhose to
check the sharpness of your fret ends...YOU ARE ON THE WRONG CHANNEL!"
That was funny, honestly, but everybody on You Tube has their trademark gimmicks, there's no harm in it, and no need for Sean to rag on fellow good-hearted YTers such as Phil McKnight over something unimportant.
It's all in good fun and I'm 100% sure Phil would laugh too if he heard it.@@markpell8979
@@markpell8979 For sure. the sock test is to visually demonstrate how scratchy the fret ends are. Would the marks left on the sock indicate a problem severe enough to bother some people? Yes, so it's a valid test. Would they bother me? It depends. I have a file, so I'd just take care of it myself, but most people don't.
@@nellayema2455 I'm the same. I like it when you can't feel any sprout or sharp ends but honestly I've got guitars where I can a little when I'm checking for it but it doesn't matter when I'm playing. And I can always file and sand 'em if/when needed. I kinda like doing that stuff anyway. But I say if it ain't broke don't fix it, at least not 'til next time I change strings.
Lookin mighty fine there brotha.
Cool to watch man! You're not just a pretty face.
Damn! I'd buy one of those!
Sean love your channel just wish you would talk a bit more when your doing the work and explain what your doing . When you cut the slots for the nut gow deep should you go
Really fun to see how all those tools and gigs work.
Where can I get a roasted maple neck for a strat?
Shawn are y'all still making the kits. Asks if I wanted to purchase some pickups would ms Kathy make adhd sell them?
Send me a message bro!
You and Cathy remind me of me and my wife 😂
You skipped showing the ONLY part I wanted to see, shaping the back of the neck. Nice skills
Wow you really do some awesome work man
