Very cool tour! You are running a lean mean manufacturing MACHINE! The company I work for based is the USA has a large silicone manufacturing facility in Toronto…they would be so proud of your set up….safety measures…zones. We run VERY similarly. Efficient and clean! Amazing to see where the magic happens. Thank you JP ♥♥♥
Thank you for this interesting tour! I've always loved the craftsmanship in your homes, so it was nice to see where the magic happens. I'm so impressed with the overall organization of all the tools and areas where the work is done. Construction of a tiny house totally inside a building is surely the way to go. I hate seeing regular houses exposed to the elements during the build.

How much to ship a Tiny home to Lancaster, California and set up water, electrial and propane hookups? Do l need to have it on a cement slab? Would gravel work? How much for skirting and a deck?

It’s obvious to see you that you guys have adopted lean in the shop. I was surprised to see that you’re using not using Revit. I also suppose a lot of the 2D printouts eat in your profits. Have you considered iPads and screens for showing plans? It’s much more efficient especially given revisions, not to mention the lost time from printing. Adopting something like autodesk construction cloud would allow you to easily share designs among the team, and to stakeholders. Keep up the good work.
Hi! We use Autocad, SEMA and sketchup. Regarding digital plans/Ipads, we tried this route, but ultimately some things on the worksite are preferred to be physical, such as the set of plans. thanks for the tips though!

Nous sommes situés sur l’île d’Orléans près de Québec, une ADU est une UHA ( unité d’habitation accessoire) en français, erreur de traduction.
