    I really love your tutorials, very informative. I have a questions on the pmdg 737 on xbox series x. Is there a known Bug that the plane might use too much fuel? I put a 40 min Reserve and P06 factor in simbrief and still i approach like almost dry on a 3-4 hrs flight ://

    thank you, i have been always doing refueling by wrong way because i did not know how should i add as an extra fuel , but now, i really understand how to do it and how much extra fuel i need .
    .please, next video zoom in fmc so that we can see clearly the process . i mean the full screen fmc zoom .

    Thank you for the amazing tutorials Emanuel, I have one question about the cargo distribution on the 737. How should I divide the cargo between FWD and AFT cargo? I usually go for 60/40 percent for FWD and AFT respectively.

      Thank you so much for your kind words!
      In my former airline we tried to put as much as possible into the forward hold and only use the aft hold when the front was full.
      Normally you could fit about 2t into the front hold, of course depending on the size of bags.

    I have been absolutely loving your videos, you are amazing at them and so knowledgeable thank you so much. One question though, when loading the cargo, should how should I distribute it? I notice you out all 600kg in the front, so should if I have more cargo than the capacity of the front, should I fully load the front and then put the rest in the rear? Or split it evenly? You didn’t split it evenly just put all in front. Thanks so much.

      That's how my airline is doing it. We try to load as much as possible in the front hold and only if the front is full we start using the rear hold.

    I apologize for asking something from a 9 months old video Emanuel, but I'm learning how to fly the 737 since I had the chance to buy it recently, hopefully you can see this, did you mentioned in the video that is possible to fuel or refuel the aircraft through the MSFS fuel menu? Asking because I do start my flights from the runway and I would like to enter the correct fuel quantity instantly or ASAP before I take off since I'm ready at the runway

      No need to apologize, the video is still just as current as it was back then. You can not refuel the aircraft using the MSFS menu, but you can use the FUEL menu within the FMC. That works on the runway, even in the air. Whenever you need it.

    Great videos, but the one thing I was looking for I missed. If I am loading from the jetway, how do I get the boarding prompt to go green so I can start it. Did it key off of the passenger bus arriving for you? I do everything right, and I populate the number of passengers in the boxes, but “start” stays grayed out, so I am missing a step. Doors are opened and wheel chocks are enabled. I am not fueling. Thank you for your help.

      I figured it out. When you are in the payload section, you have to zero out whatever you want to load - fuel, passengers, cargo- then in the pages of Ground Services you fill in the values and you will get green start values for every item. What you cannot do is fill in the ZFW weight from your flight plan, or it will just load everything. Then you have to deplane the passengers to start again. By the way, when you deplane, the passenger number onboard is shown beside the target boxes. Whatever number you want left on your airplane before boarding is the number you fill in. If you want to empty your plane completely, you put 0 as the target, then hit start deplaning.

    Wie kommt man dazu, dass PMDG einem die Beta Version "aushändigt"? Also ich gönne Ihnen das absolut-ich frage mich nur wie das zustande kommt. 😊🙏 Das ist mal wieder mega beeindruckend wieviel wissen ein Airlinepilot hat. Wahnsinn.

      In meinem persönlich Fall: Als damals die 737 für P3D rauskam habe ich anfangs recht enttäuscht festgestellt, dass sie doch sehr anders ist als die echte 737.
      Daraufhin habe ich angefangen Supporttickets und Forentopics zu öffnen, in denen ich die ganzen Bugs gemeldet habe. Irgendwo zwischen dem 50. und 100. Report scheint PMDG auf mich aufmerksam geworden zu sein, weil ich wohl sehr präzise Beschreibungen geliefert habe, vieles mit Bildern aus dem echten Flieger "bestätigt" habe, etc.
      Daraufhin hat man mich gefragt, ob ich nicht dem Tech-Team beitreten will und das habe ich getan. Das muss so Ende 2019 gewesen sein. Seitdem habe ich PMDG technisch beraten bei der Entwicklung und dementsprechend natürlich auch Betazugang.
      Ps.: Die meisten dieser Probleme mit der NGXu, welche ich damals meldete, hat PMDG inzwischen behoben ;-)

    Question : Why are you not entering 4500kg fuel in the FMC but you inserted 2500 kg only in FUEL page ? Is it IRL too ?

    Could you also explain (in a separate tutorial or by answering this question) the criteria for selecting the alternate airports ? When the weather is overall good can we chose the closest (to our arrival) airport where our virtual company has a base? What about bad weather conditions, are there legal defined requirements, like that the alternate airport must have better weather conditions than the arrival or that it allows a lower category approach? Do we have in certain conditions to choose a 2nd alternate airport? Thx in advance!

      Generally there's two types or alternates.
      Fuel Alternates and Commercial Alternates.
      As Fuel Alternate you can use any airport that can handle the 737. The idea here is that you require minimum diversion fuel, thereby minimizing the aircrafts weight and thus fuel burn and cost.
      As Commercial Alternate you have airports that your airlines flies to (thus where you have handling) or where it ha a base. Generally a Commercial Alternate is one where the company will incur minimal cost resulting from the diversion.
      Normally you'd uplift fuel for the best fuel alternate so that you need the least diversion fuel.
      In case of an actual diversion you'd then check if the fuel available is sufficient to divert to your first commercial alternate. Keep in mind that you rarely will initiate a diversion with minimum diversion fuel on board, so you'll normally have several airports to choose from.

    Just preparing my second flight with the 737-700. One question about the payload section. What if I enter 100 passengers in the the p.l. section ? Are they then inside the plane without having to use ground services ? I already understood that in order to be able to use ground services I have to zero the numbers in the payload section.

      If you enter them directly over the payload page then they board instant. For real time boarding use the ground services tab.

    737NG Pilot helloo and thank you for this tutorial series! I do have a question about the fuel amount you put into the FMC.
    4:32 it shows your block fuel on the left side that you want over 4000 kilos. Why did you put 2500 into the FMC?

      I did that becaues by default the airplane loads up with some 10 tons of fuel in the tanks. As I wanted to demonstrate the real time refueling system I needed to reduce that to an amount that you'd typically find in the plane after landing.

    Emanual, Question(s): Following along...I can only load 128 PAX, The FMC I see on your screen does not reflect the same fields available to me. Suggestion: Run through your Aircraft configuration first so those who wish to follow along will realize the EXACT same result as you. My aircraft should be identical to yours in every respect. but as it stands I have no idea how your plane is setup and thus why my keystrokes are not matching yours. In order for your hard work to payoff, my data must match yours otherwise I cannot expect to get the same results making me stop right here and go no further. It all started when I set my fuel as you did yours. Then, over in services entered 4500 in the target. Your Screen said Fuel Truck Arriving mines says ENG INHBT (Grayed out) as is Fueling START. Please help me get on the same page as you so I can feel confident my results will mirror yours. Thanks.

      Yours is set to a single class layout.
      I'm using the config that came with the Ryanair livery, if you use the same livery you'll have the same config.

    I can never get passengers to load, no matter what I do (doors open stairs attached). The fuel does load, and you can only get the cargo to load fwd or aft not both.

      There is no tablet at the moment, one will be added post release however.
      The exact scope of its work has not been fully descided yet as far as I'm aware.
