you should try using 1/2" HDPE plastic. you can use cheaper led strips with it and install from back side so the front glows. typically chepaer than acrylic too.

Hi Precise signs ! While installing the cable connections behind acrylic , I see your doing it with just bare hands doesn't the Super glue stick to your hands and cause issues or skin irritation ??

There will be markings like ✂️ scissors. Depending on the type of led strip you purchase cutting length may vary. Some can be cut at each inch
