This is exactly why I watch Ola not only do I get some belly laughs once in a while his content touches my heart it was a halmark moment watching you watch your wife play Cheers Brother and Rock on Louise
"I'm not a guitar player." -- Sorry, kid. You can't say that anymore. More intros like that, please. I love watching a newcomer to the instrument find her/his way. This was a complete success. That "blip" thingie in the Black Sabbath tune is a digital encoding artifact. The CPU/HDD probably had a hiccough while encoding the track and noise is the result.
@@athmaid The "blip" you guys are talking about? All i'm hearing is the part of the riff were he bars the B G and D strings on the twelfth fret real quick to resolve the riff! I'm so confused! That's part of the song!.. Unless I'm missing something?
Such an eye opener: now I know why Mikael Akerfeldt referred to "Old Man's Rock" in a couple of interviews, it's probably a literal translation from Swedish! Thank you Ola and Louise the Heavy Metal language teachererers!
Awesome duet, you two! OMG!!! Go Louise!!! You will replace Ola in Feared and The Haunted soon! Judas Priest started in the same town (Birmingham) and year (1969) as Black Sabbath (officially). Black Sabbath got together in 1968, but officially became Black Sabbath in 1969.
Coming from a die hard Metallica fan I can't help but agree to what you said. However depressing it may be. There will never be another Master of Puppets.
This needs a 2nd part already because there is no way Manowar isn't included - I hope it get even mentioned :D This comment is written before premiere so I am hopeful
I started the video and went to go grab a drink but I had to stop and just watch in amazement the two of you! Fantastic job, Louise! I actually clapped afterwards.
My wife's reaction to watching this, "That was really cute....I like that". I had to agree. Hey another Nordic band, specifically from Norway and an absolute favorite of mine is Pagan's Mind. They are incredible musicians and the compositions are insanely great. That would make a great "Ola Learns Pagan's Mind"
Loise did something that made Ola proud. now Ola needs to do something that makes Loise proud. like riding a horse or something? might be an idea for an adventure segment :D
Before this video even started, I paused it. Ola, look at how damn proud you are of your wife playing that guitar! ! That's a genuinely happy man! Blessing too you both, and your family!
My first concert was Accept (Balls To the Wall tour) opening for Motley Crue (Shout at the Devil tour) opening for Ozzy on his Bark at the Moon tour; outdoors at old cardinal Stadium in Louisville under a full moon. Still the best concert of my life and one the main reasons I'm still headbanging at 51.
Hell yes! Love that you got Luis playing guitar with you in the intro that is awesome. I will say this please by all means do something else I don’t care what you guys do, your Sunday videos really bring me out of a funk a lot of times. They are very wholesome and metal at the same time! I love it! Love the idea of happenings or events that’s of luck and excited to ‘see’ the new office
It was a great Sunday morning & heart warming to see you both making music together. I'm 66 & wanted to give a side comment on the pioneers of metal. While you covered a lot of good ground on the early days. There was a few bands way before Iron Maiden. Judas Priest had 5 albums out before Maiden, most notably Sad Wings of Destiny & Stained Class (the song Exciter, would be considered early Thrash in 1978) Early Scorpions with Uli Roth on guitar was before Maiden or Accept. (Check out the song Sails of Charon, for some blistering guitar) UFO's early albums, Force It & No Heavy Petting influenced a bunch of metal guitarists. Thin Lizzy & Budgie as well .
“One” is one of the first full songs I learnt on guitar. Thank you Ola and Louise for that intro. It takes me back to how excited I was when I started learning guitar and how awesome e it felt to play a piece the right way! Man what a feeling!
I love these Sunday videos. Every Sunday morning I look forward to starting my day with a cup of coffee and metal morning or swola. Can't wait to see what you guys have planned next. Good luck with the new office space.
Awesome as always guys... It´s very fun to see you two on every Sunday. Much success and keep it going guys. Greetings from Chile Ola... By the way, Super 8 are great and very appreciated here, glad to see you both enjoying them. See ya!
I loved Iron Maiden back in the 80's, but they seem to have been rehashing "Powerslave" for every record since then. With few exceptions, the songs sound the same (namely, the gallop). Conversely, Judas Priest (who started as a blues-based rock band, like Black Sabbath) foreshadowed albums like "Ram It Down" and "Painkiller" with songs like "Rapid Fire". Judas Priest are very diverse. The are pioneers, and just when you think they have been left in the dust, they show the young guns how it's done by the masters.
Very good video. I love how the morning begins here in my country Chile on a Sunday with a new video of Ola and with this I only have a good day. Sadly yesterday my fingerboard broke into three parts. Now to collect money again to repair it or to buy a Solar that looks amazing. Thank you very much for brightening our days with your content. Greetings!!!
Gnarly, Ola & Louise!!! 🤘🏻🎸🇺🇸 Hey, I don’t know if you have heard that family band, Liliac. But you were mentioning DIO today, and they do some great DIO covers-along with the bands originals. But you gotta check out their singer, Melody Cristea!!! She’s been singing like that since she was a teenager, still only about 19, I think. She also jams with that super group, MAB, Rudy Sarzo, and Vinny Appice. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🎸😎
Louise played guitar, therefore she is a guitar player! just saying :-) Also, nice seeing to giving some love to Mnemic! My fellow danes were a very big inspiration for me back around their debut album. Such a shame that the band ultimately called it a day. Lots of great danish bands have been shortlived. There was a band called "Vira" that is was super into. They released 2 EP's and a debut album before disbanding. One of the Vira guitarists - Victor - actually played in Mnemic on their last album. If you do blackgaze on one of your Metal Mornings please remember to include the danes in MØL. They make amazing music :-)

...and now the Babymetal fans will arrive to add comments. FYI the BM concert clip was from "Legend 1997", on 21st December 2013. I thought another guitar played that “blip”. I hear another guitar playing the same riff but higher in pitch
@@KingFilth Perhaps, but it sounds like nothing more than an encoding "oopsie" to me. I might have to visit the original recording.

LOUISE IS IMPROVING ON GUITAR!!!! CHEERS!!!!!
Even the dog is happy to listen to Deep Purple. Nobody can deny the power of that album
Deep Purple is legendary for a reason. Brilliant band
Never heard of em like most youngins who watch this channel
Olas smile in the beginning is speaking volumes... You two are just too cute, love your videos together, make me happy everytime!
Totally!
Omg!!!! Louise, this made me cry happy tears! That was beautiful. I loved it so very much! Great job, keep it up Mama..💞🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🔥🤩
Nice job on guitar Louis, I remember trying to learn that part on guitar when I was just starting and it was pretty f****** hard.
lol took me 10 years to learn that part, probably helped that I started practicing after 9 years.
But Ola, I wanted you two to talk about Christian Vegetarian Post-Jazz Slugde Metal, you can't just stop with the series :(
Are you trying to repeat what "Fat Ed" said in Fur TV?

Underrated current Nordic bands!
Norway: Obliteration, Black Viper, Condor, Black Magic
Sweden: Sweven, Harrowed, Tyrann, Century, Air Raid
Denmark: Taphos, Reverie, Slaegt
Finland: Chevalier, Havukruunu, Orphan Devil
Iceland: Hræ, Helfro,
couple of gems in that lot! cheers.
could add Diskord from Norway and Oranssi Pazuzu from Finland to that list too.
Add Phrenelith and Serpents Lair to Denmark aswell. Super cool bands.
